I never expected to get so many readers and kudos, so I would like to thank you all so very much because this is actually just my second fanfic :p
This fairy is so grateful, thankful, and ready to meow for all of you.
As said in the chapter 1 note, I made this because of a tiktok I saw. I was pretty sad too that kse didn't go back home and I kept reading a bunch of chapter 200+ angst and made it everybody I knew (Especially my family) a problem.
I always loved writing and expressing my ideas, I love seeing characters interact with each other, and I just love the idea of gsgw characters coming together to be one big happy family with shared trauma.
I still wasn't sure whether I wanted to write on ao3, because I was still not good at writing if it's not obvious, and because I'm scared of the ao3 curse huhu.
I also ended up making chapters a bit too short sometimes because I didn't have a big vocabulary.
But hey, everything worked out fine, and I enjoyed writing this!
I wanted this fanfic to replicate gsgw, but I also wanted it to be unique.
This AU has gone very far from the original tracks too, but it's fine, because kse is happy!
I usually worked on these chapters when I was outside, especially in some fine dining restaurants. The employees think I’m doing work, but I was actually making a 30 year old office worker blush like an anime girl.

If I had to be honest, that playlist was really ass.
There were like dms inviting me to participate in that one GSGW artist x author event but I declined because I knew my idols would be there and I honestly am a pretty shy person. This fairy is pretty nervous around people too. I didn’t really think I’d be talented enough as both an artist and author to even participate. I’m a small creator after all!
My shyness also explains why I barely reply anymore recently, but just know I read every notification from my mail!
I just have a hard time expressing myself so waha.
Writing in 1st person was honestly much more fun than I thought, I strictly stuck to 3rd person when it came to other works of mine and publicly hated 1st person back then. Kim Soleum really changed me… <3
Although I didn’t really meet new people or gain any big changes to my life or me as a person, I still enjoyed writing regardless. This was meant to be a silly side thing when I was bored so I wasn’t really serious either.
I don’t wanna spoil anything, but there’s a lot of small details I’ve put, especially references. There’s also times where I made secret codes.
Working on this really felt like these cuties were my original characters, so I sometimes forget to be accurate at times. Pair that with me not remembering some of the chapters and details.
I can’t think of anything else to add, so I’ll answer some questions that I've seen in the comments hehe.
Btw, go reread this entire thing, there’s a lot of updates and changes. There’ll be another wave of changes once season 2 is released hehe.

[Is the contamination of the characters going to remain or are they going to be recovered?]
Good question! The characters are reverted back to what they were when Kim Soleum first met them, so if Eun Haje had both of her arms when she and Kim Soleum met, she’ll have them back. This isn’t a spoiler either way, it doesn’t serve anything big in the future.
[How does everybody act when Soleum is at work or not at home?]
I want this to be a side story actually! I’ll keep things vague but they mostly start banters, especially if Jaheon is at work too.
[What’s your update schedule?]
When Choi is actually normal.
[Did they look themselves up on the wiki?]
Definitely! No way they can contain their curiosity. They ended up reading some stories too. They’re very interested in the ghost stories they have already visited and tend to check the exploration records and see all the attempts.
[Did Braun have a reputation because he was originally an actor before he became a TV host darkness?]
Braun is Braun :)

The entire household has new dynamics that were made because of how they’re actually living like a family. Believe it or not, nobody has burned down anything yet. Jaekwan and Jaheon frequently go out on the balcony to just sightsee.

Just around 30 years old and up, he’s one of the oldest but he still allows Choi and Eun Haje to treat him as if he’s still young. He’s used to it.
[Who settled in the fastest?]
It’s a tie between Jaheon and Choi.

I’m not promising but I do hope so! The guys will get to meet their in-laws… <3 I’m kidding
[What are your plans moving forward?]
While I am a multishipper myself (Mainly braunsol), I do not have any plans to turn this into a romance fic. I want to showcase the relationships Kim Soleum has with the people he knows without it turning into romance, after all, it’s fun this way.
What if Kim Soleum and Jaheon bond together a lot if they weren’t in daydream? And similar questions to that. I personally do not enjoy romance, but I do love implied and flirting, so that’s the most I will put.
While season 1 focused on other characters and their relationship with Kim Soleum, season 2 is (I’m hoping) more focused on Kim Soleum himself and how he’ll grow as a person. Meaning, there’s more conflict, more drama, and more growth. I can’t promise any new characters or original characters because I originally planned for the actual characters to appear.
I would like to admit that the ending isn’t fully decided, but there’s a higher possibility for a rather sad ending.
As for what I’ll be doing before season 2…
Classes, reporting, thesis, drawing, content creation, and reading the rest of gsgw chapters first because I’m actually still stuck on part 1 haha. (If you know where to read english translations for free, feel free to message me on discord…)
I would also like to make other AUs, maybe try writing smut, or whatever.
Side stories would be good too, but they’d be a different work from this to keep things organized. They’ll be super short too (probably less than 1k words) but they’re just to showcase small things that happen to the Kim household.
I’m very impatient to wait for more questions, so if there’s any other questions, I’ll reply directly!
