Chapter Text
When Lauren came to he wasn't expecting red light and people yelling all around him, the red lights were only turned on during emergency. Still confused he sat up making his coat slide off him into his lap, he doesn't remember deciding to sleep on the break room floor.
"Why would I- Levi..." The memories came flooding back to him as the panic set in, pushing him to stand up and rush towards the door being pushed back though by a guard rushing past him. Looking this time he rushed towards the sound of yelling and pained grunts.
He knew who was causing this and why, everyone probably knows why but not with the same reasoning.
Getting closer and closer the number of unconscious body he passed grew, some being people that worked on some of same cases with him. Barely giving a glance though he rushed passed every single one.
He was almost there now, almost at Spite's cell, the sight before him though made him stop his stride in his tracks, the cold and pained look in the eyes of the man he was never able to actually see, the blood, the anger, nothing of those thing were what he wanted to first see in his eyes.
He might never get the guilt to leave him now.
Levi was a man of many talents he likes to believe, unable to stop at anything he put his mind too. Yes, seeing Lauren was not part of the plan but no one would have expected that it would of caused this big of a dent in the plan.
Stepping aside the charging guard slammed himself head first into the metal cell affectively knocking himself out, he wasn't the one who decided what kind of cell Tori got so you can't blame him for that knock out.
His breath hitched in his throat as the pain his body was in became almost was too unbearable, a quarter of his masked was ripped and he was bloodied and most likely forming bruises.
Straighting his back he turned towards the noise of another person running his directions, maybe someone with a gun was what he was expecting, anyone would have been better, he went to Lauren first for a reason.
Both froze once making eye contact, he didn't want it to be like this.
The sound of other incoming guards broke the unwavering silence the two felt as Levi hissed out a curse.
He couldn't continue like this. The distant sound of a angry voice filled his ear. The lights went out as easily as he got in.
