When Danny loses everyone he loves and will love in one day, he can only think of going to Clockwork. Danny soon finds out he has to be the new Ghost King. Clockwork tells him he could have a whole lifetime to prepare himself to ascend the throne.
Clockwork was as cryptic as ever and they are both dumbassess, so there is a misunderstanding. Danny gets a whole lifetime to prepare himself, but didn't understand he would LITERALLY get a whole lifetime.
