A mercenary rogue named Herah Adaar finds herself in a position she is in no way qualified for. Saving the world from demons and an crazy man who thinks he's an God while finding out who and what she is. Feeling alone and having the world on her shoulders she sets out to try and find her place in this new world and makes friends and a new family along the way. It helps there is this one guy who seems especially... delicious.
I do a lot of time jumping, as I dont want to write out the main storyline often that we play in the game. We know what happens and most of the out come already. There are a ton of references and things that will happen as if they happened within the big storylines however - after all, some of that stuff would have been tragic and pure trauma for our Inky's.

Inquisitor Lavellan has a nice time in the Hinterlands gathering herbs and getting just a little stressed. Then proceeds to be a very bad diplomat. Set during early DA:I where we're still in Haven and the Hinterlands is as far as the team can go. Cullen is still just as terrible at dealing with pretty women.
This is the first piece I'll have ever submitted to AO3, so I hope you like it! ;_; Feedback would be cool!

Summary
It has been 5 years since the mishap with the Elder Scroll sent the Dragonborn to this new world. 5 long years since he'd seen his homeland of Tamriel. The magic of the scroll transported him to a new world, in some ways similar to his home, but in others, so very different. This new realm of Thedas was full new mysteries and dangers, and a long history of conflict. Every desperate attempt to return home ended in failure, and the Dragonborn finally resigned himself to his fate of being stuck here forever. But then Kirkwall's Chantry was destroyed, the Circles of Magi fell apart, and the Mage Rebellion began.
As the war was quickly going nowhere for either side, and the bodies began to pile up, the Divine called together a conclave at the Temple of Sacred Ashes, the most holy of places for the religion of the Maker. For some reason he did not understand, the Dragonborn decided to attend this conclave, believing the reason behind his presence in Thedas was soon to be revealed.
