Summary
Just as he's picking up his phone, the door lock rattles. His ears perk up and he smiles but as soon as his eyes land on Finn's slumped shoulders, the smile falters.
Something happened.
Finn doesn't say anything, just looks up with tired sad eyes. Poe opens his arms and Finn falls right in.

Summary
The first thing that gets his attention as he walks in crisp air is a ginger furball rushing at him with the speed of light. She takes a leap and before Finn blinks, he slips on the gravel right into a huge pile of leaves.
"Beeps!" he laughs, spitting oak and maple. He ruffles her sides, trying to avoid the frantic licking. "I missed ya too, just try not to break my bones, okay?"
The fox chirps loudly and waves its tail, as if agreeing.
"BeeBee Ate, you wild uncivilized creature! Get off him immediately!"
The sensation of a hoarse, scolding voice is like burning flames crawling under Finn's skin. It intensifies when a firm hand grips his own and pulls up until he faces the warm brown eyes. God, he missed them so much.

Finn and Poe reunion where it's been almost a year after the events at ChITF, family gathers together at All Saints Day and Finn is about to meet Poe's parents - even if Shara is long gone. Also, he'll find out a lot o surprising things ;)

Finn winces. She definitely has him there. Vulnerability isn’t exactly his strong suit but damn it, “I’m trying. Got help, remember?”
“Yeah, ‘course, we had the same help. But do you think it’s enough to just get a stamp of approval and then not do anything with it?”
