Summary
Lance was officially weirded out. By Keith. Keith was acting very weird.
But it was a subtle sort of weird that no one else seemed to have noticed, the type of weird that would make the others think that he was weird for noticing it in the first place.
Keith didn’t rise to any of his jabs. Keith didn’t poke fun at him. Keith followed Shiro’s orders to the letter and didn’t pull any dangerous stunts. Keith barely even talked.
Lance was going to get to the bottom of it.

Summary
When Keith was growing up, he couldn’t see the stars through his windows. It wasn't anyone’s fault; the skies just weren't clear enough for stargazing. He would look up each night no matter where he was, eyes shimmering with the kind of childlike excitement that hadn’t been tainted by the plagues of life. But each night he would step down from whichever window he found, his previous delight forgotten. All he wanted to do was see the stars, but he could only see the moon.
Keith had always hated the moon.
But God, did he love what the moon gave him.

Summary
Keith wasn’t about to let his friends – the ones he had come to see as his family – die because he couldn’t destroy a shield. Crashing his ship wouldn’t be enough, but there was something else he could do, something that might cost him his friends just in a different way – or so he thinks.
In which Keith is a half-Altean (and half-Galra) alchemist, who would love nothing more than being a normal human. Destiny won’t have that.
