TUA Masked Author is an Umbrella Academy fandom event that allows you to embrace your creative muse and test your investigative prowess! In the first phase, authors post their TUA fics to an anonymous AO3 collection. Afterwards, we’ll release a list of participating authors and the guessers will put on their detective hats to try to match the fics to their authors – with coveted bragging rights at stake for the best detective!

Summary
Ever since Five had begun to settle into life at The Commission, a power struggle had emerged between himself and The Handler. Five was not quite sure why this was, or when exactly it had started, this power struggle has caused Five a significant amount of grief. Still, The Handler is his superior, and as much as Five might despise her… there is only so much he can do without risking his new job… and his life in the process.
So, when The Handler arrives at Five’s office and requests (demands) that he dines with her, Five finds himself begrudgingly agreeing to join her. He knows that nothing good can come of it, but hopes he will face nothing more than one of her more easy-to-digest schemes.
What Five doesn’t realize is that The Handler has a very special lunch planned, with each dish being carefully crafted for Five specifically. Not only this, but she's ensured that each contains a little something that is certain to be a blast from Five’s past.
Will Five be able to outwit The Handler and claim this encounter as a small victory in their seemingly endless struggle for power, or will The Handler’s cruel schemes pierce Five’s defenses, catching him off guard enough for her to count this match as her win?
