The world is full of magic, and there are many strange and wonderful things out there. Long ago, yeonghon, or spirits, lived in peace with humans, helping to hunt down Gwi-Ma's demons. But over the years, humans began to view the yeonghon as demons as well and began to hunt them. Forced into hiding, the various spirits try to avoid human hunters while living their own lives in peace. Rumi and Mira are both half-bloods. Rumi lost her mother, but still has her pack and sire. Mira lost everything and was raised by a widowed Bobby. Rumi has lived in the forest, raised as if she were a full-blooded. Mira has been raised in the human world, but longs to learn more about her yeonghon side.
Fate has a plan for them - but the Huntresses are closing in and are targeting Rumi and Mira specifically.
