Summary
"Your standards appall me." Yoo Jonghyuk tilts Kim Dokja's head up to kiss him. The angle only allows for a soft graze, but it feels good, sickeningly good, to be wrapped up in him like this.

Bookmarker's Notes
Something deep and hidden and reinforced a thousand times over inside Kim Dokja's heart snaps like a twig.
He knows he wasn't in love with 'Yoo Jonghyuk'. The luxury of Kim Dokja's adoration goes to the author. Yoo Jonghyuk was a symbol, a setpiece with which the story could unfold before him. That's all. He had fallen for Yoo Jonghyuk as a flesh-and-blood person, but there's just so much underneath that love, and if he could only communicate the tiniest, tiniest piece of it-
If there's a small, white lie to make, just so Yoo Jonghyuk could understand how important he is, then he'll make it.
It didn't matter what would happen if Lie Detection was used.
He knows some things are just true in an emotional way.

Summary
After failing to grasp the Star from the 46th scenario, Yoo Joonghyuk finds a different way to tie Kim Dokja to his side: a sub-scenario with a failure penalty of temporarily binding the participating incarnations' hands together. The penalty will only last a few days, but even this much is satisfying, especially after the years that Kim Dokja was gone.
Kim Dokja is just sick of everyone trying to babysit him, even if it's a bastard with a pretty face like Yoo Joonghyuk.

“I gave you a chance, Kim Dokja,” Yoo Joonghyuk says lowly. “If you won’t take your own life seriously, then I’ll do it for you.”Bookmarked by TheCoIIector

Bookmarker's Notes
All stories have the potential to change - to evolve into stronger forms, to be rejected or overthrown, to be inherited and shifted to adjust to new owners. They’re malleable because the lifeblood of a narrative is the people that tell it, and how it is told can change the tone and messaging of a story even if the plot never changes.
And a Story like theirs, born from the relationship between them, is both one of the strongest and weakest types to exist. It can’t be easily twisted by outsiders, but if either one of them were to change how they felt about each other -
If Yoo Joonghyuk were to so firmly decide that he no longer wanted to be companions ‘through death’ -
[Exclusive skill ‘Fourth Wall’ is shuddering!]
“Then answer me,” Yoo Joonghyuk spits. “How do you read this Story, Kim Dokja? In what part of it am I there with you?”

Summary
When Yoo Joonghyuk reunites with Kim Dokja in the 73rd Demon Realm, he has several orders of business: make Kim Dokja regret his actions from the tenth scenario, make Kim Dokja address his Fate from the tenth scenario, and make Kim Dokja agree to an imprint so that the likes of the tenth scenario cannot happen again.
Kim Dokja, very objectively and of sound mind, thinks that this is a bit ridiculous. An imprint between them - two alphas that hardly ever see eye to eye on anything outside of the very basics of survival - is unthinkable.
(Of course, this is ignoring the fact that Kim Dokja himself had formed a one-sided imprint on Yoo Joonghyuk a long, long time ago.)

Bookmarker's Notes
“I won’t rely on regression any more,” he swears quietly. “So you have to live properly too.”
Kim Dokja feels nearly dizzy. Of everything exchanged between them tonight, this feels the most like a confession.
“I can’t always take the same path as you, Joonghyuk.”
“Then go and come back,” Yoo Joonghyuk says. “So long as I can know that you’re alive, then leave, and return when you can.”
Kim Dokja smiles wryly. “It feels less sincere when I can feel your emotions like this,” he says. “You don’t want me to leave to begin with.”
Yoo Joonghyuk stubbornly doesn’t reply.

Bookmarker's Notes
“You are mine, Kim Dokja. And I am yours. No matter how long it takes me to find you again- no matter if you remember me or not. If you are a part of the fabric of this universe or just a loose thread- I just wove you into my story. If this is indeed some game, I’ve tied you into my ending, into my epilogue and into my eternity.”
“Okay. I’ll believe in you.”
