Fable me.

Fables are a particular flavour of story telling, and we'd like to see you have a go at it.

The Bunny Planet

For the first part of this exercise, tinge the world in dark hues and show us a narrative style that reflects frustration, sadness, and alienation. Then say something simple and slightly sentimental, like "From that moment all colours of the universe brightened," which changes everything. Especially the narrative method. After this simple hinge sentence, change the tone and color of this short piece of prose dramatically. See if you can use a very different method of compositing sentences, another rhythm, to convey the complete change in moods. [from The 3 A.M. Epiphany]
