Wish fulfilment

A canon character of your choice fancies themselves fond of something, and they are (willingly or not) given a chance to live it. Think of it as a not-quite self insert, since it won't be you we're tracking. More of a crossover, really. Though we aren't expecting it to be taken serious.

Outsider POV

You have a known cast of characters going about their daily business. Hunting monsters. Solving crimes. Fighting magical beasts. They're out of the ordinary, to say the least. But then there's your POV character: an ordinary stranger in the sea of ordinary people.
Maybe they're a barista, or a trader bartering with the Dragonborn. Or maybe they're an innocent bystander getting pulled into a battle. Someone witnessing something they shouldn't have. Maybe they'll have to die for it, or they'll live and have a tale to tell. Choice is yours.
