The two enthusiastically talked about forest animals. Cheong Myeong casually said, "I once saw a rabbit in the forest and begged Sahyung to keep it. He didn't agree. He did make me a rabbit-shaped dumpling though."
Dang Bo started crying.
"I used to have a rabbit once. For 6 hours. Actually it was a hare, but still."
"Really?"
"Yeah. White fur. Very cute. Caught it while hunting and brought it home."
"It died?"
"Yeah."
"Sick?"
"My brother skewered and roasted it over fire for new year celebration dinner."
"???"
"I ate it." Dang Bo sobbed. "It was fucking tasty. Had a nice char. I went back for seconds."
Cheong Myeong started sobbing too, looking like a pure taoist who couldn't bear to harm a fly. He banged his fist on Dang Bo's head.
"You're fucked up!"
Dang Bo shielded his head in defense. "It broke out of the cage and got mixed up with wild hares in the kitchen, it's no one's fault!"
"How could you not recognize it on your plate?!" Cheong Myeong wailed.
"It's lathered in peanut sauce!" Dang Bo cried harder.
The two drunks sobbed and hiccuped so hard in the middle of the street to the point some pedestrians almost considered calling the law enforcement.

The God of Death’s divine voice rang in the abyss-like space, holding up two fingers. Cale’s eyes widened where he sat across from him.
It had been roughly a few weeks or so since the White Star was defeated and the despair-crazed god was resealed. Cale thought he’d be done after that, and for a while, he was right, despite all the commotion about him being the ultimate hero— which was total nonsense in his opinion— but then the God of Death suddenly contacted him.
You have two months or so left.
He told him he was going to die.

Cale is sick and can't do anything about it. He doesn't tell his family. Well, he's got two months to slack, so he may as well make the most of it.

I spent two whole hours ugly crying. The crying has exhausted me. Its 3am for me rn. I might wake up with a sinus tomorrow.
