      I've always found that idea fascinating too. I've played with it in a few stories before—the thought that if one person had acted a little differently at exactly the right moment, an entirely different timeline could unfold.

      Sometimes the smallest choices end up changing people's lives the most, and that's very much what I wanted to explore here.
