This is really well-written and I am loving the interesting things you're doing, like Elena's questions and Tseng's answers - are they answers he gave to her, or the answers in his head? I really like that we don't know. I love your characterisations: they feel rich and real and authentic to the source material - they feel really human. I really like the AU aspects of it: Cloud and Zack surviving, Aerith not having had a previous relationship with Zack; Aerith, Tifa and Jessie doing the Don Corneo mission together; the Turks' plan to prevent the Plate Drop, and the fact Cissnei (love her!) is very much in play. I cannot wait to see what happens when Tseng and Aerith are in a scene together. They're really going to strike sparks off each other.
