Summary
Kyoko Urameshi never had a good relationship with her younger brother. Yusuke was always her opposite; she considered him a troublemaker and lacking in intelligence, just as he considered her mean and incompetent.
But when she saw her brother's body in a coffin, her world shattered into a thousand pieces. Upon hearing the news that Yusuke might come back to life, Kyoko became even more interested in the mysterious world that surrounded her brother, diving headfirst into a new life filled with tribulations.

He was told the place would be unorthodox but he hadn’t anticipated that fighting legendary Pokémon and participating in reality bending stage plays would be a part of it, all he really wanted was to build his machines and make some friends….

Champion Scarlet (remixed in here from the SV manga) keeps themself distant from the pair due to their sordid past catching up with them. Arven strives to keep the group connected. The League calls on Nemona to conduct a covert rescue mission into Area Zero, where things don't go according to plan. (Big twist to come far in, not there yet).A mix of slice-of-life, slow burn drama, action scenes, romance and fluff, angst and healing... Lots of flashbacks comparing and contrasting the characters' backstories. Expect young-adult-and-up themes, writing tone, with heavy emphasis on character development, recurring theming, and grounded worldbuilding, tied together via emphasis on dialogue and character interactions.
An attempt to take the Paldea cast and reimagine them in a more grounded, fleshed out way.

Hiei is doing what he does every other day - working for Mukuro on whatever assignments she gives him. He does the work, gets paid, and goes home to his boyfriend Kurama, whom the entire organized crime world has accepted is dead. One day, Mukuro decides this just simply isn't enough from Hiei. Sure, he's good at his job, but she needs more control over him; she can never track him down easily to do these dirty jobs for her. She decides to break him in the best way she knows how so he knows who he actually belongs to.
Hiei does feel dirty and weak; he begins closing himself off to Kurama out of fear of the other abandoning him over what happened. Kurama can't leave him if he never finds out what happens, right?
