Summary
Two years after the Reclamation of Mountain Glenn, the world has prospered. Human expansion is at an all time high, new settlements raised on a regular basis, the earth was dug into deeper for more resources to feed the expansion efforts, new technology developed both to improve society and to eliminate the dwindling Grimm threat. With the aid of MT and AC technology they became less and less of a threat as it became humanity's turn to rule the skies of Remnant.
Even the Huntsmen Academies were adjusting to the changes of this new era, with facilities constructed to allow the teaching of piloting skills. Once an Age of Huntsmen, it was now an Age of Armored Cores.
But no good thing lasts forever, Whispers in the furthest edge of the frontier about new Grimm species emerging, old familiar ones replaced by more deadly variants and in larger numbers. The most outrageous rumors being claims of Grimm strategically thinking and attacking but surely such a thing was impossible.

The battle is over, ALLMIND and Iguazu lay defeated and Coral Release is unleashed upon humanity without their interference, creating a new world where humanity and Coral are given a chance to co-exist with their free will intact, and all the uncertainties that come with it. The die has been cast, but neither Raven or Ayre will be able to see it through.
Swept up by the singularity caused by Coral Release, they awaken in a strange new world with strange new enemies to fight. One thing they were sure about, was that in these Grimm-filled skies, Raven must fight on.

The weight of Blake's choices is weighing heavy on her shoulders. Following the incident on the train, Blake has to take a look inward and decide what she thinks is right. In this short little POV, Blake has to grapple with fear, anger, shame, and desperation before she can feel any ember of hope again.

“You heard about all that?” Blake says. The breakup—and the ensuing legal battle—had only made the news because of who her parents are. Otherwise, nobody would’ve cared about who Menagerie’s bronze medalist gymnast broke up with. No one, apparently, except Yang.
“I kept up with things,” Yang says. “I’m happy for you, too. You look happier without him.”

Meanwhile, on the remote planet Rubicon 3, Augmented Human C4-621—callsign 'Raven'—and Ayre witness Coral Release. But instead of symbiosis, 621 and Ayre are whisked away from Rubicon and split apart from each other against their will.
Forced to take separate paths, 621 and Ayre now find themselves on Remnant. Ayre winds up in Vale, and runs into a startled Team RWBY in the middle of a firefight. And 621 crash-lands into Mistral, where she—and her thirteen meter tall war machine—falls in with bandit leader Raven Branwen.
Between superhuman Huntsmen, the Grimm, and Remnant's eclectic inhabitants, 621 and Ayre struggle to reunite. Even as their very presence sets Remnant on a course of events that no one can predict...
