Summary
Although Aziraphale has loved Crowley since before the Beginning, the fundamental opposition of their natures has prevented him from acting. It hasn't stopped him from wanting, or dreaming, or simply wishing things could be different. That he could love Crowley without endangering him.
After 6000 years of glancing touches and lingering gazes, he finds himself estranged from Heaven. And then a series of unfortunate coincidences leaves them the task of making two humans fall in love. Mix mutual longing with a business-meeting-turned-party complete with a romantic atmosphere and dancing, and they don't stand a chance.

Summary

Over the course of three seasons, the two sect leaders are forced closer as they attempt to appease the gods and rebalance their land. Perhaps, in the course of their adventures, they will also find a way to rebalance themselves.

Summary
Dove_Drabbles is an online community on LiveJournal, in which, every month, a prompt is taken from quotes printed inside Dove chocolate wrappers. Since this is my first time participating in such a community, I'm hopeful I can faithfully produce a story for each month's prompt. Each new story will be added to this collection, and each submission will be a stand alone and not necessarily inter-connected with the other stories. Themes may vary; however, all the stories are going to be based in the Gokusen universe, both manga and drama versions, and featuring mostly my favorite pairing, Sawada Shin and Yamaguchi Kumiko, with cameos from the rest of class 3-D. In sharing this particular fragment of the Cain Archive, it is my wish to shed light on a less explored period of Ciaphas Cain's life: that is, when the Commissariat sent him to liaise with Lord General Zyvan and his staff on Coronus. By then, Cain's career and status as Hero of the Imperium (despite his private protestations about the title) were well established and he found himself quite taken with a life that, for being more stable and comfortable than what he had known before, still put his particular skills to good use. The events described in this fragment illustrate well, I believe, the outrageous aptitude he had for always finding himself in the thick of things (albeit reluctantly) — a talent that made him a most valuable asset to the Inquisition.
