      Obito, he knew, no longer blamed him for what he'd done. It didn't seem possible that he might shift those feelings to Rin. It was wrong, Obito had loved her. It was wrong, Rin hadn't done anything worse than using Kakashi as a tool, same as everyone else.

      "You should hate me."

      "Can't. Couldn't even when I wanted to. You're," his voice cracked with emotion, "You're everything, you know?" He did know, because it was the same for Kakashi, the world feeling dull and empty when Obito was away.

    “Yes,” ♫♬♯♩♩♫ says. They and the rest of the human life support thrum know better than to be offended by my occasionally strange behaviour. “Obviously we weren’t going to risk the life of Honoured Grace on a completely untested technology.”

    That doesn’t mean much. There’s a lot of things that are safe for ingestion by Eridians that would outright kill a human.
