He was a paediatric nurse, the children were very sweet, his life was very good, even with all the family problems, but... He always lacked that spark, something to destroy the monotony, and suddenly, the worst happened, his father had disappeared and was being accused of money laundering and other crimes, but with his father gone, only Castiel was left as legal representative, in such a horrible moment most would be terribly stressed, but not Castiel, because he had concentrated more on the handsome FBI agent who was explaining the situation, dark blond hair, arrogant and flirtatious smile, strange jokes... Dean Winchester, looks like Castiel finally found his spark, now we just have to see... If Dean also found his spark in Castiel.

"Moray eels!" Simon agreed. "They get big-" He gestured vaguely at the thick-as-your-arm eels poking out of their various hidey-holes, gulping serenely. "-as you can see, and in the wild, they mind their business if you mind yours. And you aren't a fish."
"Aren't they like xenomorphs?" another kid pointed out.
This was evidently something Simon heard often, because it got a probably-rehearsed (but quite convincing, and charming) chuckle out of him. "Yes! These guys have two mouths. The second one is in their throat, and called a pharyngeal jaw-"
Grace was only half-paying attention. The eels had taken an unusual interest in Simon, and were sliding out of their various spots to get right up to the glass. One in particular started eagerly following his hand around.
"I think they like you!" one of the kids snarked.

So, you can tell where I got my inspiration from, as not long ago I had to read Dracula (it was my third time...ugh) for a class I was taking.

I honestly wanted this to be like a fun, lighthearted kind of story where nothing too serious happens to any character, and they're just living their lives, doing what they do best in the hotel. I really wanted to take a break from my more serious-toned stories, and figured I could kind of just make a story where all the characters just get to ramble on about their lives for a little while. I've never been good at writing comedy, so I will try my best with this work. So, if it starts to head into more serious routes: I tried my best.
This is in no way going to be like the story of Dracula, I just really liked the journaling aspect of it and decided I could try it out. So, yeah, this won't be a very in depth story, but I am really excited about it. I am also trying to give each character their own journal, but I'm still on the fence about it - Johnny's journal will definitely be the main "plot" of this work.
