The whole thing sounded completely batshit insane: it was hard enough to believe the bizarre journey from Japan to Egypt and all that had occurred, but everything after that? Jotaro felt like he'd lied to Noriaki about everything else since Cairo… since somehow, he’d acquired a second chance to put things right.
Somehow history had already been rewritten: both Zeppelis and Abdul, even Iggy had survived… and especially Noriaki. They were all still alive because of a previous quirk of history, and another before that; a chain of revisions that seemed to lead back to the very beginning of the Joestars’ bizarre adventures.
After all, he’d wished really hard…
Ergo: Jotaro Kujo would be an actor in the play of his rebooted life, speaking his lines when necessary, but tweaking and nudging things when he thought he could get away with it. Oh, and eventually stop the world from ending or whatever. Again.

Adelheid has no recollection of who she is, where she comes from, or how she ended up the partner/patient/pet of an eccentric man with round glasses and a mischievous grin. That isn’t to say she dislikes the guy, (in fact, she finds him quite the comforting presence,) but he certainly has some odd ways of showing his affection for her. Namely through his frequent insistence on testing exactly how shy one can make her… and the means to do so.
