Summary
Kotone Shiomi, a bright auburn-haired girl is forced by fate to make a choice in her life. Forced to exist in a state worse than life or death after her sacrifice to save humanity. The Universe Arcana, the only thing capable of stopping an ultimate end. She grows weary, broken, and so tired of watching the passage of time all alone. These are the cracks that formed... Eventually The Great Seal breaks in the distant future and all of humanity is destroyed. Her sacrifice, completely meaningless.
This a tragic fate for our heroine, yet a man with a golden butterfly mask appears before her at the end. He offers Kotone another chance at life in the only way he knows how. She can live, laugh, and create a new life for herself in a timeline where it's Great Seal cannot break. A timeline where someone else made that great sacrifice. She takes the man whose name very few remember. She will be sent to join a certain trickster on his journey. One who has been in a rigged game from the very start.
