For a long moment, it's quiet. Dustin's chest is heaving with the force of his words, and Will is… standing there, looking shell-shocked, with that barely disguised look of hurt that Dustin once swore he would never, ever inflict upon him.
"...so you think this is my fault?" When Will does speak, it's quiet, the words barely a whisper. Dustin's heart aches at the sound, but not enough to tamper the seeds of anger still sprouting in his chest.
"Think?" Dustin laughs mirthlessly. "Isn't it obvious? Somehow, for some reason, you're the root of everything we've been through. Summary

The ground he’s standing on isn’t stable anymore and without meaning to he starts moving, walking absentmindedly. Everything’s spinning, it’ll make him throw up. Looking at the sky makes him feel like he’s in a merry-go-round. He can’t hear his friends; he doesn’t even know where they are or where he is.
He stumbles on his feet and holds onto a tree. He hears the distant sound of people calling for someone. His mind is rushing with images, flashes of faces he can’t quite place.
“Will!” There's a hand rubbing circles on his back; he turns around to see the worried expressions of people he can’t exactly recognize, but they seem familiar. “Are you alright?” The girl with dark curls in front of him asks.
He blinks.

Regardless of the reason, the strength of the urge to smother Calum against his chest took him aback, because he hadn’t felt anything like that in so long. And he kinda liked it, which really scared him.

absolutely absolutely absolutely beautiful. like so so so beautiful. I love it so much. 40k+ words written by an angel it's so good. strangers to lovers, Luke meets Calum at a bus stop and stops seeing him for a long time, until Calum moves in next to him. that start there is so unique I've never seen it and my favourite thing about it is that it's written so realistically. missed opportunities, momentary connections that Luke thinks back on even months or years later. then baking pie together, the crossing over to each others balconies, accepting Luke's highs and lows, accepting each other, healing from a past relationship that wasn't good but wasn't too bad just wasn't accepting. very adorable, very sweet, very domestic. wonderful reading experience 10/10!!! <3
