“36 is a stretch child. It's supposed to be 24.” XD told him matter-of-factly. “36 it is then. I’ll use my extra 12 hours wisely.” Tommy joked. “You should use all of them wisely.” XD sighed, clearly not in a joking mood. “I’ll try.”
They sat in silence for a moment. “What will you do?” XD wondered out of curiosity. “...Something I should’ve done a long time ago.” Tommy turned to the god. “Timer starts when?” “Now.” XD gave him a clock. “It’ll turn red instead of whatever the next cycle is supposed to be when….good luck Tommy.”

Tommy talked to the egg and it revealed its plans to kill everyone on the server. He, in good conscience, could not let the egg do that to them. So he makes a deal with a god to save everyone. He decides to try and fix everything, only if everyone will talk to him.He has 36 hours to not get killed trying to make amends. He figures its gonna be a long day.

That was what led him to the great idea of adventuring into the woods during lunch time to fight a bear. It seemed like as good an idea as any to discover his amazing power. He didn't expect to be thrown ten years into the future or to find his family different from how he remembered.

While obligatory, this series challenges a few pervasive narratives and hopes to rewrite foster aus as a concept through radical acceptance, diversity, and realistic healing.
Most people writing foster aus have no idea what they're doing. And tbf- that's okay. Most people aren't reading foster aus for accuracy. But as someone who is knowledgable about these systems and the trauma of foster care, I really wanted to see an au that tackled these concepts head on. So I did it myself.

Tubbo grabbed the basket and threw one to Michael, who went to eat, swallowing it down whole. Tommy stood and dusted himself off. He hesitated because he didn’t want to break the news to Tubbo when he seemed so happy. But, they did need food. Placing a hand on Tubbo’s shoulder, he looked at him pitifully.
“Tubs,” Tommy began, feigning sorrow in his voice. “It seems you’ll have to get up to the Antarctic Empire for fish.” Tubbo’s face fell.
“You do it!” Tubbo exclaimed.
“Nope,” Tommy said, popping the ‘p’. “As the biggest man here, I don’t have to!”
“Tommy.”
“Yes, Tubbo?”
“You’re doing it.”
Tommy stared at Tubbo for a moment, seeing the hint of firmness in his eyes. Being the smart, poggers man he was, he decided to not argue. Partly because Tubbo would actually kill him, but mostly because he didn’t want to die and leave his dragons alone.

Tommy’s breath hitches in his throat and his knees almost buckle under the weight of his terror. He takes a shaky step backwards, suddenly hoping that Punz would still be after him, but he’s managed to lose the man in the maze of hallways, and now the hybrid looks at him and says something but Tommy can’t hear him over these goddamn sirens and oh god, he just wanted to find Dream–
Or: Tommy, an avian, doesn't know of life outside the laboratory. It's the only home he's ever had. So when Phil breaks in and takes four abused hybrid kids to a safehouse, he's surprised to see that one of them isn't at all happy to be saved.

In an ethical way, ofcourse. He's a villain, not a monster. But as days and weeks passed, the more Mumbo really wants to kill the so called CrowFather. Seriously, who doesn't report their kid missing or even attempt to try and find him?
Whatever, Mumbo will step in, since the other clearly doesn't care about his son.
