His early marriage to the then Victoria Secret model Marina Thompson made him even more popular. But since he caught her in bed with a lover a few years ago, they have officially had an open marriage because Marina (12 years older than him) and her lover both were married and have already been secretly photographed by fans months before. That's why they remain in public as a loved-up couple, but they hardly see each other in private (except the sex after joint appearances). Colin distracts himself with various other women, but eventually Marina takes the decision that she won't accept any more flings of his (and especially the blurred photos of him with other women). So, for his fulfilment, she invites someone else into his bed.
