But before Wilbur could bask in his victory, Tommy struck back with a blow far more devastating. The godling beamed, his small hands clapping together as he shouted, “Techie!”
Technoblade froze. A strangled gasp escaped him, his eyes widening. Wilbur barely had time to react before Tommy pressed his advantage.
“Techie! Techie, Techie, Techie!” he cheered, his voice growing louder with each repetition, pure joy radiating from his tiny frame. And then, with a casual wave of his hand, the pigs on Technoblade’s pajamas sprang to life. Tiny, chubby little things, they trotted off and onto the table, before, with another wave of Tommy’s hands they grew soft, fluffy white wings and began fluttering around the room, their oinks harmonious with Tommy’s delighted shriek.
“Techie!” Tommy exclaimed again, pointing to the magical pigs now circling them. “Piggies!”

“I don’t think I understand the point of the exercise,” Izuku says, turning his head to face the sky. He and Hitoshi are sprawled on the lawn, soaking in the last hour of sunlight. Out of the corner of his eye he sees Hitoshi shift, and a moment later feels his fingers pressing between his own.
“I’m psychoanalyzing you,” Hitoshi says drily, and Izuku still isn’t sure if he’s joking about that or not. “That’s all you need to understand.”
“Well, I get that,” Izuku huffs. “But I’m more curious to know what you think my choices say about me.”

Chauakiah's armour was off—well, save for the helmet. Not only that, but Chauakiah's armour was off in the middle of HELL. Completely blind to threat, wings being tended to like he were back at home being scolded by Gabriel for not taking care of them properly. Oh, and Gabriel would know so well, wouldn't he, with those wings of his own?
Oh dear Father, how Chauakiah missed him.
Even as absurd as the situation was already, the one tending to his wings was.. well, supposedly, manmade. Or made to look manmade. A machine, of sorts, but not existent like a human could perceive existence. Angels were different in that sense, and that in many ways, the superior beings compared to man that angels were.
OR
Mirage helps preen a Power's wing, and they share a moment of vulnerability that Chauakiah hasn't gotten used to.

Louis was grateful about being a vampire for a lot of reasons.
First off, immortal life was pretty great. No diseases, no death haunting your step, nothing to really be scared about unless you are incredibly stupid, and Louis liked to think that he wasn’t. The strength was nice too, it helped him get out of a lot of situations, and of course the white hair was something Louis liked more than he would admit. It did suit him, but the red eyes were a hassle to hide.
But the thing he was the most grateful for when it came to his vampirism was the lack of blood and breathing, because otherwise Louis might have let out a strangled squeak as he noticed that Owen had fallen asleep in the chair beside him.

Five times Owen fell asleep near/beside/on Louis by accident, and one time he did it on purpose.
