This story starts during ROTS, when Anakin is about to tell Mace Windu about Palpatine being a Sith. His Comm starts to ring, and it's Padme calling him. She's started having contractions and is going into early labor. Windu has some experience delivering babies in the field, so he knows what to do. He gets with Anakin into a ship right away and they head for her apartment. Anyways, this means that later, when Anakin does tell him about the Chancellor, there is an experienced politician nearby to tell them how stupid the idea of marching into his office with lit lightsabers is. This changes things.

He finds himself 10,000 light years away, in an unknown, isolated galaxy, very far, far away from the one he knows. He loses Anakin to the dark force, Padmé is dead, and the twins are separated for their own good on two different planets.
This dark-haired, blue-eyed boy is very similar to Anakin. That’s why he was scared of him, at least the first time they met.
In the end, he will regret taking his robots with him.
