The 1st of the month, beer day. Another endless cycle, another rerun of previously experienced events, complete with the landlord special disguising itself as a fresh coat of premium paint, a “new spin” on what you already know is to come.

“Great show, Mr. FizzaRolli!“, one of the staff members congratulated him. Fizz returned their smiles gratefully, attempting to climb down the staircase behind the stage but swaying dangerously to the side, gripping at the handrail for support.
„Mr. FizzaRolli? Are you alright?“, another one of the workers asked, worried and reaching out to help steady him.
“Of course, I-… I-… I am…“, Fizz stammered, rapidly blinking his eyes as his vision kept swimming and blurring. Before he could finish his sentence, his knees buckled out from under him and he collapsed, tumbling down the stairs and into a limp heap at the small staircase‘s bottom.Or: Fizz keeps overworking himself to appease Mammon and eventually collapses from sleep deprivation. Cue Asmodeus to set things right again!

Summary
Clark 'Superman' Kent, is a shoe-in for the NFL draft, a tall, dimpled, All-American-Type, College Football's Jesus. Bruce is well-known for his intense dedication to collegiate journalism, his all-black closet and the billions promised to him upon graduation. Bruce wants to sweep at the Collegiate Emmy's, Clark wants to go pro. So, they make a deal. Bruce can produce a media campaign that rallies the public behind Clark before Draft Day. Bruce helps to upkeep the Wayne Media Enterprise legacy, and Clark gets good press.
But then, Clark and Bruce spend game-day after game-day together. Bruce asks Clark questions, studies him, captures him, writes all of him down. What's even more peculiar is Clark starts asking questions back. Questions that make Bruce feel like Clark wants to know him as more than just his shadow for the season.
They can’t fall in love. It wouldn’t make practical sense. It wouldn’t make emotional sense.
But couldn't it?
