Tudo estava tão bem, tão calmo. Dois anos se passaram desde a última vez que tiveram que lutar contra algum inimigo. Obviamente foi uma surpresa quando um enorme injetor modificado aterrissou na colina do farol juntamente com uma irritada gem rosa choque, que por alguma razão atacou Steven e as outras. A tal gem empunhou uma foice de energia e atacou, mas quando estava prestes a acertar as Crystal Gems, ela foi parada por uma grande criatura, que possuía pelagem vermelho escuro com mechas mais claras espalhadas e por algum motivo era muito familiar para todos.
