What if Sir Nighteye didn't die after the battle with Overhaul? Given the chance to live and make up for his poor behavior towards Izuku, how does he respond to learning how many people have treated Izuku so poorly? He does what any hero would do, he comes up with a plan to make sure that justice is served, and then executes it.
“My boy, you single handedly defeated perhaps the strongest villain in Japan, saved Eri, and broke the chains of fate. There’s no one else who can do what you’ve done, and I promise you that I won’t stop working until you and everyone else recognize what an incredible hero you are.” Nighteye let his curiosity get the best of him, and looked into Izuku’s eyes and activated his quirk, attempting to peer into Izuku’s future. He almost lost concentration and stopped his quirk when he realized he was seeing Izuku’s fight with Overhaul play out in his mind rather than seeing into the future. ‘That’s never happened before.’ Nighteye focused and tried to look further ahead, but instead his vision moved further into the past.

Inheriting his grandmother's position at a job that had been handed down for generations in his family, the hero society will be changed as he deals out consequences to those who wronged him and works on making a better society thanks to the power that now was his to wield...even if he never wanted to take this kind of power in the first place.
A plot that came one day to my mind and just refused to go until i get it done.
So had fun and enjoy this little short.

I read Kourtney_Uzu_Yato21 most recent history "I Refuse to Allow you to Ruin Any More" and was really motivated for the first time in a long time to write something like this as a simple short story.
The idea of Nezu putting his foot down to stop Eraserhead from expelling Izuku is something that a lot of people have done in the past, but I have my own idea about how it could be, with a version of Nezu that is actually competent at his job and decided that the moment that Eraserhead decided to pull this kind of stunt, that his head was in the chopping block.
So this is how the idea came to my mind after I read that story. I consider this a present for Kourtney_Uzu_Yato21 as said story made me quite happy and motivated to write a short story after almost a year of not writing short stories. "IF" doesn't really count as it is just based on my own works and are contained in a unique story and not a short contained on it's own story like this story is.
