Once Jax, now something quieter and more complicated, he’s just as fractured as she is. What starts as distance slowly shifts into something softer—shared silence, unspoken understanding, and the uneasy feeling that maybe neither of them is as alone as they thought.

Summary
After the circus ends, Gangle seems happier at first. She smiles more, makes plans, and insists she's doing great.
The problem: she's not. Without the physical comedy masks she used in the circus, she doesn't know how to explain her emotions anymore. She starts bottling everything up until one day she completely breaks down in public.
Zooble is the one who finds her. The twist is that Zooble has no idea how to comfort someone. They try logic, jokes, leaving, coming back, leaving again. Nothing works. Eventually they stop trying to "fix" Gangle and just stay with her while she cries.
Meanwhile Zooble is secretly struggling too. Everyone assumes they're handling things fine because they always acted detached in the circus.

Summary
Jax awakes in a hospital confused, cold, and hungry. He's tangled in wires, and his mouth is dry. It wasn't until he went to rub his eyes that he realised he wasn't purple. His bare hands were very human, something he hadn't seen for a long time. He has lots of questions, and the doctors had very few answers. With each memory brought back, more questions were left unanswered. Meanwhile, Christine works her usual job at the office, attempting to negate her boredom through personal hobbies and interests. She's had her eyes on a particular abandoned building that she's been casing for a day or two now, and would like to film exploring it.
