Gojo stared down at him for a long moment. Those striking blue eyes, no longer hidden behind sunglasses now that they were alone in the quiet street, softened with deep affection. He could see the genuine fear in Yuuji’s expression, the worry of someone who had just learned how dangerous his partner’s hidden world truly was. It touched something deep inside him.
After a few heartbeats of silence, Gojo slowly nodded, leaning slightly into Yuuji’s touch.
“I promise, Yuuji,” he said softly, his voice sincere and warm. One of his hands came up to cover Yuuji’s on his cheek. “I won’t be reckless. Not when I have you waiting for me at that café every night.”

Sukuna’s taken him to the couch, a bit annoyed at the dead weight in his arms.
“I guess you can’t hold your alcohol, huh?”
Yuuji purrs, leaning into him with his eyes closed. He’s definitely happy right now. Sukuna lays back, taking Yuuji with him and they lay like that for a while, the movie they were going to watch now forgotten.
Two alphas laying together like this is absurd but as Yuuji purrs, Sukuna realizes there’s nowhere else he’d rather be right now.
His teeth itch.
“Smells like peaches.”
Sukuna chalks it up to the sake but Yuuji freezes, tilting his head up from Sukuna’s chest with big eyes.
“Do you… like peaches?”
Or which, Yuuji and Sukuna hate each other's guts and that somehow opens the door for more.

He would find himself going through the beat-up, ancient iPhone he had, looking through photos from a time when he could still smile brightly enough to outshine the sun with his friends, and relive those moments for even a moment. And every time they ended, he would bawl his eyes out.
He missed it deeply, and he wanted it back so badly his chest would ache at it.
Turns out, his yearning was more effective than he thought.

Itadori Yuuji finds himself waking up in the long-gone past, just three days before his younger, more naive self would stumble upon Ryomen Sukuna's finger and consume it. Sukuna had enough of his vessels self righteous as well as suicidal tendencies. They had finally made it out after their year of captivity. His vessel was in need of a long smooth recovery, the sorcerers were in no way in any capacity up to Sukuna’s standards. If he had it his way he’d erase the whole Sorcerer population just so his vessel could live without a theoretical noose hanging around his neck. But his vessel's recovery was of the utmost importance. Nothing would stop the King of Curses, nothing could.
Story is based off of Cogni_Diss fic series "Bound Together" (I couldn't link the whole series in the inspiration part so be sure to read all parts from this series!)
Make sure to read theirs before reading this for further context as well as showing them love they deserve all the recognition for making such an amazing fic of my comfort ship! Bound Together is 100000000000000000% my comfort fic (I've read it like 10+ times) shhhh it's okay if I'm mentally ill.

Sukuna doesn’t answer at first, starting to walk away, clearly expecting Yuuji to follow. He jogs to catch up, waiting a bit impatiently and trying to not show it. Finally he speaks up.
“Curious?”
His brother turns to him, a cheeky grin on his face as he walks backward. Yuuji huffs, grabbing Sukuna’s arm to stop them both in their tracks.
“Do you always have to dodge questions? Just tell me.”
There’s a whine to his voice and Sukuna’s eyelids lower, a pleased growl in his chest as he steps closer to Yuuji, not caring to shake his grip.
“It’s not that I’m not interested. It’s the first run for the person I’ve had my eye on. I’ve had to be incredibly patient”
