Summary
"Promise me you won't try to clear my name."
Glinda broke her promise, and Emerald City made her pay the price. Having narrowly made her escape after a series of violent, angry revolts, she's forced into a life of hiding.
One day, Elphaba, alive and far from Oz, receives a vision of Glinda—she's in trouble. She rushes back to her old home as fast as she can, fully set on finding her and keeping her safe. Upon arriving in Munchkinland, she reunites with a few familiar faces, and learns things in Oz are worse—far worse—than she could've ever imagined.
It seems there might be more to her visit than she thought.
Or, Elphaba returns to Oz and plans to save it with the help of her best friend, a familiar scarecrow, an incredibly bitter tinman, and a very lost little girl.

And once, there was a witch, who strived to improve her land, and rise above.But more importantly, once, there was a girl from Kansas, who came to Oz, and changed it forever, and was then sent back to her life.
Four years later, she returned via a terrible storm. And with her return, she changes Oz yet again, for better, or worse. -

Summary
Finally, the Emerald City is in reach, mere minutes away. Dorothy runs to it as if it were a beacon of light out at sea, and then something overcomes her, some intoxicating scent which puts her to sleep— or at least that’s what it was meant to be— and suddenly she finds herself collapsed, unconscious, dying. Fiyero of course, is able to beg Elphaba to save her, and that she does.
Now, Dorothy must grapple with being one of the Wizard’s new puppets. She wishes to stand up for the right thing as the injustices of Oz are revealed to her, but can she?
OR
What if Dorothy died in the Poppy field and was revived by Elphaba in the form of a ball-jointed doll, soon to be used as another puppet for the Emerald City?

"Kansas? Is that where she came from? I only heard bits and pieces that she crushed Nessarose Thropp with her house and was on her way to the Emerald City... down the yellow brick road with a... man made of straw and a man made of tin." Mombi looked at them. "It seems that she will forever be destined to come back home."
When the Scarecrow and the Tin Man are ambushed alongside Dorothy on their way to see the Wizard, they are left with little choice and, with help from a powerful witch, are sent back to the days of Shiz University before the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good were known only as Elphaba Throbb and Galinda Upland. Where a man made of straw and a man made of tin were once known as Fiyero Tigelaar and Boq Woodsman. Only this time, they arrived with a little bundle that may change the fate of Oz.

In the Land of Oz, terror was rising. Fear of the Wicked Witch of the West was spreading throughout the land, the power of the Wizard remains intact, plans becoming more dangerous than anyone can ever know.
But when a 10-year old Kansas girl and her dog crashed a house into Munchkinland, there’s a shred of hope that Oz will return back to the way it was.
Maybe there’s more to the Kansas girl that meets the eye, more than she can ever expect. Maybe the girl can show what truly is Good or Wicked, and open eyes from the fog of ignorance.
Or maybe something dark will be waiting for her, eyes watching her, waiting to cage her for selfish desires.

Summary
A different decision leads to this.
The Wizard is exposed as a fraud and as Elphaba's father.
Morrible, outraged at her promotion to enemy of Oz, strikes out at Elphaba. Only for Glinda to leap in front of her and take the blow.
Elphaba is saved, but Glinda is gone.
Years go by and Elphaba rebuilds Oz while trying to capture Morrible the Horrible.
Years go by until a house lands on her sister and with it the arrival of two strangers.
One of whom may turn out not to be such a stranger.
