IF EO were mine, and SVU was not a procedural, this would be the second half of their epic love affair. It's raw, real, and more than a little messy, but I had a hella good time writing it.
Sidebar on this story's premise: I've watched this series in real time from day one, and this is the only relatively realistic explanation I have (yet) come up with that would explain why a) Stabler would walk away without a word for ten years, and b) Benson wouldn't be angrier when he returned.
