Life is a fickle thing. It's like the disappearance of one star among a constellation. It’s a moment passing in the vastness of the universe. Life is so fragile, and thus so precious.
However, no matter how big the world is, or how many possibilities life offers, or how mundane we are in death, I just can’t see the light in life without you. There is none; just pure darkness engulfing me from the skin to the marrow of my bones until nothing remains but a void.
After what seems like a normal day at work, Taeui is kidnapped by one of Ilay’s enemies. When Ilay realises that he is missing, he becomes desperate to find him and bring him back home, but it's almost too late.

"Let me answer your question with a question of my own, hm?" Tay stared at him quizzically before simply nodding. "How come you've been allowed your ring?"
"Allowed? What are you talking about—," he replied even as he peered down at his right hand, his thumb instinctively rotating the silver ring around on his middle finger.
"Why would they have let you keep your ring? Or me my gloves?" Ones dark eyes tracked over Tays face as he spoke, almost as if he could see the whirlwind that was Tays mind.
"Who's they?"
Ones eyes lit up then as a smirk spread across his face. He took a step closer to Tay and suddenly he felt as if he was looming over him. His hand went to Tays shoulder as he stepped up behind Tay, his voice a low whisper in his ear as he spoke.
"Them." He stated it matter of factly as his arm extended before Tays eyes, his gloved fingers pointing off into the far corner of the room as something finally seemed to catch Tays eye. There in the corner of the room was a camera perched high upon the white walls.

Rain tapped softly against the wide glass windows of their luxury hotel suite in Bali.
What should have been a bright Valentine’s evening by the beach had turned into a storm-wrapped night.The ocean outside was nearly invisible now—only occasional flashes of lightning revealed silver waves crashing under dark skies. Palm trees bent under wind. Rain poured endlessly, drumming against balconies and rooftops like a thousand hurried footsteps.
Inside, warm golden lamps softened the room.
Their suite was absurdly expensive—marble floors, cream-colored walls, silk curtains, a king-sized bed untouched except for Taeui’s scattered clothes, and the faint smell of rain mixing with expensive soap and sea salt.And boredom.
Very, very deep boredom.
Taeui sat cross-legged on the carpet, glaring at the weather outside.
“This is unfair.”From the bathroom came the sound of running water shutting off.

“You won’t.” the other said quietly, in an uncharacteristically serious way, and Joonghyuk’s eyes flicked towards his face sharply.
Kim Dokja’s mouth was set in a grim line, his brows low over his glinting eyes. He had the same expression on his face he usually had before he was about to do something stupid. Joonghyuk’s hand pressed down more firmly on his abdomen, just shy of his wound, watching as Dokja winced.
Quietly, he leaned in, never taking his eyes off the other. “Won’t I?”
