He closes his eyes as tight as he can as she grabs him by both forearms and lifts him up. He tries not to react to the burning in his shoulder from how she’s pulling him. She moves to throw him across the room, but just before he hits the floor—
    Marc jerks awake, sweating and hyperventilating.

    Marc has a nightmare and it spirals into a full blown breakdown which he does not have the emotional strength to handle
