Summary
Maddie Buckley has been in the music industry since she rose to fame when she was a teenager. She has captured fans' hearts with her vulnerability and her lyricism. Not only that, but she is also considered a sweetheart by the general public.
Athena Grant is a successful actress and is widely recognized by the people as one of the best of her generation. She has been in the industry for over a decade, rising to fame after starring in a critically acclaimed movie.
Both of them have a past that goes way back and one day, it all changed. Years later, when they thought they'd never see each other again, a chance encounter has dredged up memories long forgotten. What happens when they see each other again? What happens when they realize that it's such a small world that theirs are intertwined? Can they really challenge and change fate?

"So, I can call you Ange?" Amanda asks, taking a swig of her water.
"Oh, yeah, you can call me whatever you want." Angela shrugs casually, the rasp in her voice extra present.
Amanda almost spits out her drink, managing to choke it down at the last second instead. Angela's eyes go wide in realization at the implication of her words, and she looks up to meet Amanda's amused gaze like a deer caught in headlights.
