Hi, I'm Finx! You can find me on tumblr at finxwrites. Come say hi! Especially if you want to see more of some particular fic, nothing is more likely to make me write more than throwing ideas back and forth with someone who's invested. Ask me enough leading questions and a chapter may well result!
Also, I've seen people say you should make this clear, so: y'all have blanket permission to podfic or translate anything I write, just credit me & let me know. Ditto to making any sort of derivative work based on one of my stories – fanart, a spinoff story, anything. I will probably die from sheer excitement if anyone does, so be sure to inform me so I can see what things look like from beyond this mortal coil!
Unless, I regret to have to add, you're making a profit, even obliquely. We can't go around making profit off of fanfiction or all our legal protections for writing it in the first place will grow flimsy and fail. We can argue all day long about whether that's fair, but in the end it doesn't matter, because this is a legal fact of the world we live in. Plus it is unethical (and rude) to make a profit off someone's work without giving them any of the cut, and you can't give me a cut of any profit you make off my fic, because, again, I can't profit off writing fanfiction or Ao3 would (rightly) boot me right off the site. Sucks but it is what it is.
Also please don't feed my work into an AI. No feeding the bots till we build legal protections for professional artists, because the current situation is just terrible.
