I ship all the ships. I am a Beta reader, a writer (most of it is not fanfic), and editor. 45, Bi-woman, divorced, work in nursing & phy. therapy, had 2 previous career tracks.
I read a huge quantity of fanfic and those I really liked (enough to re-read) are Bookmarked and Recommended here on AO3. I am just starting (July 2015) to give new Rec's a Star Rating. My system is different than other folks. If I don't like it enough to be interested in re-reading it never gets listed at all.
Star Rating System:
1 - Read all the way through. I liked it enough to be worth re-reading someday, and recommend it for those interested.
2 - I really liked this, has great potential.
3 - Love it! Will definitely re-read, interesting and hot!
4 - Holy hell I love it! Everyone should read it!
