Summary
Neither of them expected this. Everyone always says your partner should be your best friend, but what if your best friend becomes your partner? Was their friendship always bordering on romantic, or did some change occur one day that they were oblivious to? When you've been friends for longer than you've known how to read, it's hard to track exactly when that change occurred. Neither Christian nor Sai noticed when it happened, but it did.
