Jisung slowly spun to face him, and to this day, he is certain his jaw dropped.
Because, standing right there, mere feet away from him, was the most beautiful man he had ever laid eyes on.
Jisung didn’t realize he was staring until the boy’s eyes were staring back into his own. He would almost call it shameless, the stare, but that would have been hypocritical, wouldn’t it?

Summary
A world where you’re born with five luminous hearts on the inside of your wrist. When you get your heart broken in any way, one of the hearts loses their colour and fades. Once all five have dimmed, it’s said that you can never fall in love again.
Enter Choi Beomgyu; a music major with only one heart left, barely hanging on a thin thread. He pledged to himself that he wouldn’t find love again to save him from the curse.
That changes the day Kang Taehyun joins the picture with five complete hearts, taunting Beomgyu. Out of spite, Beomgyu bets with his friend that he can break at least one of Taehyun’s hearts. What’s one heart less?
What he didn’t expect was to possibly fall in love in the process, leading to his demise.

With every brush of his hand, every word he says to charm Jisung’s dad, the way he holds Jisung and the eagerness to spend time together, it gets harder to remember that it’s all just for show. And Jisung hates himself for it, he really does, because that thought he keeps pushing into the abyss of his mind resurfaces every time, empowered by the flame in Minho’s eyes when he looks at Jisung.
(One drunken night leads Jisung to release songs he wrote for people he’s had crushes on throughout his life, earning him confrontations and feelings he has never been ready for.)

He continued to back up as Jisung pressed forwards.
"You and your stupid Hockey team. Bothering me and my skaters every and any chance you get"
The bang of Minho's back against the lockers rang out into the silence with a sense of finality.
"You're the only pathetic person here with your selfish decisions and disregard for anyone but yourself." He spat it out like it had been waiting to be said. He realised only then how close they really were, faces mere inches apart, breathing the same angered breaths.
"Who asked, Han?"
Or: Jisung hates Minho and Minho hates Jisung. In between the lines of college, figure skating and ice hockey is something a little more devastating.
