Jayce snorts. “You want to leave your big city partner for a rugged man in some quaint small town?”
“Maybe I want to be the rugged local,” Viktor whines, leaning his shoulder further into Jayce’s as they watch an ice skater fumble from the comfort of their nearby bench. “Maybe I want to kiss you under a tree. With the lights. And snow.”

i'm starting to get the appeal lolViktor wished, desperately, that he had a script for this encounter.
Bullet points, at the very least, for how to respond when one's colleague brings up a risqué comment that visibly scandalized them. One that scraped a wee bit too close to Viktor's own sexual tastes, because Jayce Talis wandered a little too close to the concept of submission and Viktor's dick leapfrogged his brain.
This could be Jayce's attempt at making it less awkward, massaging his initial reaction into a new inside joke. Which means that if Viktor breaks kayfabe, it's just going to make things weirder. He can play ball.
Oh? And what appeal is that?
Eighteen months into spearheading Piltover Dynamics' Hextech project together, Jayce and Viktor are on the precipice of becoming tech industry darlings. For the first time in his life, Viktor has the promise of a meaningful career, the ability to pay his medical bills, and a colleague he enjoys spending time with. He's fine with nursing his crush quietly. Really, he is.

Summary
Viktor stands still as death in the kitchen doorway, fingers aching from the weight of three grocery bags at he stares dumbfounded at the sight that greets him.
Jayce's shoulders are submerged in the cabinet under the sink, the cleaning supplies necessarily displaced scattered around him on the tile as though he hadn't thought particularly hard about where to set them down; also scattered on the tile are what appear to be, to Viktor's knowledge at least, somewhat key pieces of the sink.
This is not the aspect of the situation that has Viktor pinned where he stands.

Summary
Jayce Talis has a problem. Two of them, in fact.
Problem #1: Jayce is paired with Ekko for Heimerdinger’s capstone engineering course. But Ekko isn’t the problem here: It’s Heimerdinger’s response to their new project, which results in him confiscating Jayce’s life’s work on Hextech and taking it who knows where.
Enter Viktor: Ekko’s reclusive roommate at Zeta Omega Nu who just so happened to be Heimerdinger’s assistant until a recent falling out left them at odds. With Viktor’s help, Jayce is sure he can get back his research and achieve his Hextech dream.
Problem #2: Jayce needs to get fucked. Badly.
Enter Viktor: Ekko’s best friend who happens to be Jayce’s every fantasy brought to life. But what business does a good boy like Jayce Talis have chasing after punk boys with tattoos and bad attitudes on the verge of expulsion?
If Jayce could just find a way to talk to him, Viktor could be the solution to all of Jayce’s problems. Except…Jayce has already been texting Viktor, pretending to be someone else. Because as far as he knows, Viktor's only interested in girls.
So, make that three problems. Maybe even four.

The flesh is weak, and the distraction is persuasive, particularly when it is made this criminally personable. Brilliance, made marketable. Ambition, made photogenic. It’s very easy to let the structural violence become set dressing when the foreground is this compelling. Viktor has done it himself. Repeatedly. Reverently, even.
Which is how Jayce Talis comes into focus, Piltover’s darling sleight of hand—lavishly funded, warmly received and impossible to look away from.

Summary
