"It's not gonna work." Someone whispered in Jungkook's ears.
Jungkook look beside him and glared at the culprit, Jackson.
"What?!" Jackson looked at him with raised brows.
"You are telling me this like 9283456 times in just three months." Jungkook said annoyed.
"You count that?!" Jackson looked at him shocked.
"That's the point. I can't even count how many times you have said this to me." Jungkook said.
"Then why aren't you listening to me idiot. Go and just talk to him." Jackson whined and pointed towards Jin.
Jin, Jackson and jungkook all three of them are in their school's library.
Jin is totally immersed in the book he is reading. He is totally unaware of his surrounding and just living in that book world that he loved the most.
And jungkook is taking advantage of this moment to admire Jin.
He is crushing on Jin for three months now. Three months ago he first saw Jin when their classes just got combined bcoz the professor was absent.
Even though they both are in same school and in same batch but just different sections. Jungkook never saw Jin.
But after that day he started giving Jin attention. Then he realized the reason why he never saw Jin bcoz Jin is an introvert, so introvert. Jin just like to read books and study. In short he just like to live in his own world. He doesn't even have any friends.
That's the reason jungkook is scared of talking to Jin. Bcoz he himself is shy but not introvert enough like Jin though.
So, he is doing what he can, just to admire Jin from afar.
Even though jungkook likes studying,but he is not fond of library.
But here he is just for Jin.
And Jackson always trail behind him without any invitation. And he is constantly giving jungkook advice of just to confess to Jin.
But jungkook is adamant, he will not. Not now.
They have time. They are just in high school. He is not afraid that Jin can like someone else bcoz he know Jin enough to know that Jin is not up for relationships. Which is definitely one of the reason that jungkook is scared but he is also relieved thinking that if he did enough effort then he can get Jin.
So, he will wait for the right time.
"I will but at the right time." Jungkook said to Jackson after sometime.
Jackson sighed. "I just hope you don't get too late." he said worriedly.
Jungkook looked at him and then at Jin and then slowly shook his head.
"I will not." Jungkook said at last.
After their school ended. Jungkook get ready for his another habit that he just started three months ago.
That is following Jin till he get his home.
Jungkook never went in front of him though, and neither let Jin know about it. But he is always behind Jin following him.
That's what he can do right now, atleast.
He saw Jin going in the playground, that's his favorite moment of this walk. It seems like it's Jin's favourite part too bcoz he is always so happy this time, when he play with kids.
All kids there know him now and only with them Jin is not like a nerd or shy or introvert. Jin play with them, give them toffees, hear stories of their school and family, all the time smiling. When jin is with kids his smile doesn't feel fake or like he is forcing himself to, as his smile seem when they are in school. This time Jin looks genuinely happy and his high pitched laughter, his whole body shaking bcoz of it, is the prove that he is genuinely happy that time.
That makes jungkook happy in return.
If someone ask him what he loves most about Jin, he will immediately going to say his laugh and smile. That's what jungkook fell in love with Jin after all.
Yes, he get attracted to Jin in first sight but he fell in love bcoz of Jin's smile.
Jungkook really can do anything to maintain that smile on Jin's face.
After playing with kids for 15-20 minutes Jin stood up to go to his home.
So, jungkook followed him too.
When Jin reached his home and he was out of Jungkook's sight, then only jungkook left for his home.
Jungkook entered in his home and instantly smiled looking at his mother who was arranging some food in dining table, ofcourse for him. His mother would have been waiting for him.
He always come home as soon as his school ended.
But since he is following Jin, he gets late.
He told his mom that he study in library, that's obviously a lie. But his parents trusted him anyway.
He feel guilty for lying to them but he can't tell them now that he is being a stalker now, can he?
He went near his mom silently and backhugged her causing her to scream in fear which makes Jungkook laugh. His mother when saw that he is the culprit,she hit him lightly on his arm. "Don't do that again." she warned him. But her voice is extremely fond that only make jungkook laugh harder.
He kissed his mom's cheek and went to his room.
Soon he was again near his mom ready to get his food.
"Where is dad?" he asked munching on his food.
"He will be here soon." his mother shrugged.
Just then his father also came to have his food with them.
He smiled looking at his father and his father did the same.
Next few minutes everyone were just busy eating.
When suddenly his father said, "We have something to tell you kookie?"
Jungkook just hummed distractedly.
"We are moving to New York in a month." His father said casually like he just doesn't crumble Jungkook's world.
"W-what?" Jungkook asked stuttering in shock and just praying that whatever he heard was just his hallucination.
"Your father's company is transferring him there son." this time it was his mother who spoke.
He looked at her.
"Your final exams will be over in a month and just after that we are moving there. I convinced my company after so much struggle to give me a month time. As they were telling me to leave for New York in a week." his father said.
He took some time to process everything.
"For how much time?" He asked slowly.
"It's not clear yet." his father said.
He slowly nodded and stood up leaving his food half done.
"Where are you going?" his mother asked worriedly seeing his gloomy face.
"In my room."
"Are you ok?" This time his father asked.
He doesn't want his parents to worry for him so he nodded and smiled at them, "I am good. Don't worry." he said and left to his room.
Sitting on his bed jungkook can only think of Jin.
He thought that he has time to confess of Jin. But now he doesn't have that.
He is late.
Even if he confessed now nothing good is going to happen, for sure Jin is not going to accept him and he doesn't have enough time to let Jin fell in love with him.
Even if Jin accept him, then what? He is not going to live here anyway.
The only thing he can do now is to forget about his love.
And he did the same.
He didn't went to library again.
He didn't followed Jin.
And bcoz he didn't tried, he never saw Jin like before.
He just studied and passed his exam with top marks.
Now he is here after 1 month at Seoul's airport waiting for his flight to New York.
He convinced himself not to think anything about Seoul and just to look forward to his new life in New York.
AFTER FEW YEARS:
"YOU JERK!!" A girl screamed on top of her lungs. She was fuming with anger.
Jungkook just looked at her unfazed. His friends who were sitting with him in the bar did the same.
A drama created by girl and boy every now and then is not new for them.
"YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE ME LIKE THIS." the girl again screamed.
"There is nothing to leave when I never hold you in the first place." jungkook said annoyedly and chugged his drink in one go.
"We were together for two week and I just saw you making out with another girl." she cried.
"We were never together babe. I never told you that I love you. Neither I took you on a date. We were just fooling around, if you didn't understand that such simple thing then I am sorry. It's not my fault. Now you are no fun." Jungkook said smirking.
His friends just laughed.
The girl get red with embarrasment and anger.
"You are an asshole." she said bitterly.
Jungkook just waved his hand to signal her to go already.
She left stomping her feet.
Jungkook's friends were still laughing.
"You are the coolest among us." his one friend Ken said.
"Why bcoz I ditch these many girls and guys." Jungkook scoffed and asked sarcastically.
"No bcoz you are wanted." Sandeul his other friend said.
"Exactly. You should be proud of yourself." Ken said smiling like he said a very good thing.
"And you should be happy too.I want your luck in this." Sandeul said and laughed.
Jungkook shook his head and said, "I am."
But he isn't.
He didn't felt like drinking after that so he said bye to his friends and left from there.
Ofcourse he doesn't love that girls and guys with whom he slept with but that doesn't mean that he like to hurt them.
He like to ditch them in the worst way possible.
He doesn't want to feel wanted like this.
He feel disgusted by himself sometimes when he think about the things he are doing.
But if he wants to be in his friends group, he has to be like this.
He knows that he will definitely see the girl he ditched with someone else just after a day or two but that doesn't mean that what he did is right.
So what if that girls and boys really doesn't mind that things as compare to how much they react. It doesn't give him any right to act like this towards them.
But he has to and he will.
I am not going to get anything being shy and good boy anyway. He thought bitterly and decided to sleep for today.
And then the usual routine of everyday.
