He should feel something, but Mikey just felt numb. The box turtle could feel his legs move as the edge of the roof came closer and closer as more steps were taken. The back of his mind was screaming that this was wrong, but it felt so right. Mikey’s thoughts drifted to his brothers, what would they be doing now?
“MIKEY!”
The turtle placed his foot back down, turning towards the call of his name. Blue eyes met red before turning back to the edge, ignoring his eldest brother.***
After a mission, Mikey finds himself at the edge of one of the tallest buildings in New York, and a breath away from falling completely.
