Chapter Text
The express always felt the same, soft light illuminated its rooms, red velvet lounge, white marble floor flawlessly reflecting the light and world above its surface. The windows showing the ever expanse of galaxies outside the train. Lady Hemiko and Mr Wang had left to wander The Xianzhou Loufu for 2 hours. Leaving you alone with Pom-Pom and the train. You came to work on the astral express in unique circumstances. Hailing form The Klimt republic where you specialized in space ship maintenance. When Lady Hemiko approached you for a a job you couldn’t say no. She still didn’t tell you that you’d be working on a glorified space train.
You sat around not to sure where Pom-pom was just alone in your own thoughts. The low droning of the train and the smell of velvet. Tapping your foot on the floor wondering what perils your team was facing. Was it an evil government, deranged cult leader or killer robots. Even worse those Stellaron hunters cruel people living life by a script written by a mad man. One comes to mind, his most trusted member ‘Kafka’
A light flickers snapping you out of your train of thought and the train shakes slightly straining against something. You stand up looking frantically at the windows. Terror grips your mind as you remember only you and Pom-pom are on the express. You where all alone.
The cabin hallway door opens. A tall elegant women stands in its frame. Your heart jumps in your throat racing as your eyes focus on her. Wine hair in a messy ponytail. Black framed glasses resting on her bangs and those piercing eyes. A soft smirk on her rose lips an ornate black jacket draped around her shoulder uncovering her white blouse. She wore shorts and black sheer stockings. She rests her body on the door before chuckling.
“Well hello there. I don’t believe we’ve met.” her melodic voice moves closer to you. Your eyes widen as she moves closer and closer. You frantically search for an object to use to defend yourself.
“Tut trying to run away so soon?” she queries. Your stomach turning into birds scraping your insides to escape your mouth a dessert of desolate dry.
“How?” you manage to force out. She raises and eye at the question.
“That’s not important.” she quips leaning into you propping her up with her arm. You desperately avoid eye contact looking instead at her blouses gold details. You wanted to melt both out of fear and of a new found excitement at the outlaw appearing right in the express.
“So, tell me- How are you feeling?” she whispers to you before sitting next to you leaning back. You turn to her puzzled. Why did she care this had nothing to do to her! “I know you recently joined this crew, not fitting in with the rest of them?” She continues. You raise and eye as you inhale sharply. Her rose perfume overpowering your nostrils to nausea. Deep down you knew how you felt. The crew went out had fun and had a place to sleep at night. Week, months spent with Hemiko, Mr Wang and Pom-Pom and the entire time you work and work on this train. Fulfilling all their requests. All it did was make you tried and angry.
“You know, you don’t have to stay here” she explains waving her gloved hand out in the air. “You shouldn't be confined to this train” Your mind wonders are you better than this? Graduating top of your class and getting stuck here.
“What are you trying to say?” you ask point blank. She laughs. Standing up to walk over to the window.
“I like your straight forwardness took you a moment to get there after my appearance out of the aether. Well, sweet mechanic…” your cheeks flush you attempted to suppress it incase she turns around. “...are more useful than this, Elio’s plan sees you some place off this train. A very different life.” She examines her rings while speaking. You get chills up and down your back. As you stand up cautiously walking over to her. You consider her words letting them cloud your mind.
“A life on the run as an outlaw” you spit bitterly understanding where she was headed with this statement.
“A life with me” she turns to you, her smile illuminated in the warm light eyes glowing. If you weren’t already red hot your where now. “Think, putting his plan into order, bring hope to destiny. Why be a slave for the express working tirelessly on a train day in day out that nobody really cares that much about… or you can slave for destiny a mission with a much higher moral” she walks closer to you her voice lulling you to meet her in the middle. Like a fly in a spiders web you are trapped.
She pulls you close to her. Leaning into your ear her soft rosy cheeks all you can see. “What do you say?” she asks. “Waste your life here or become a slave of destiny. What will it be?” you feel her warm breath on you. Your vision almost goes fuzzy in the overwhelming emotion you are frozen. Stuck in place unsure what to do.
“I don’t know” you think yourself to a headache, you considered the astral express your friends but not family. You didn't want to work here forever. She pulls back slightly. Your mind tugs at you to pull her back to place, you don’t.
“The choice is yours, but let me give you time to think. 1 week… and I'll be back, just for you. 1 bag we leave at night. If you don't want to go lock your cabin door.” she smiles, causing you to hyperventilate. She starts to walk off back to the window pulling out her phone and typing something.
“Lady Hemiko and Mr Wang will be back soon… lovely meeting you my sweet mechanic hope to see you soon” she smirks again before diapering in a flash of purlple sparks. You stand confused and tired from all the thinking. You go back to sitting down laying down trying to push what happened all aside but you just couldn’t get her voice out of your head she still made you blush. You let yourself daydream that stunning woman.
All until Hemiko and Mr Wang walked in with bags of items and a of things you had to do…
