Jesse was not normal.
Jesse knew that ever since he was six when he somehow cracked important secret intel on his computer just for the fun of it or for when Jesse tampered with the principles computer by hacking it and putting in false grades for his bully or when Jesse had skipped many grades due to his intelligence.
Jesse and his parents knew that because of his amazing intelligence brain that Jesse would go far in life because of his gifted brain but there was nothing that could have stopped him except for one thing...
Jesse turned out to be an omega at sixteen.
After Jesse presented his whole life crumbled before him every dream and hope were gone just like that just because of his stupid secondary gender.
Jesse thought everything was over until Jesse's parents taught him how to hide that side of him, he was no longer an omega but an omega that knew how to play beta pretty damn well that threw anyone’s suspicion of being an omega not only that Jesse hacked into his medical recorded and changed his secondary gender without anyone knowing.
Jesse just simply relayed on heat suppressions, Scent Blockers, and old plain luck to help cover anything that would hint or clue anyone of his true secondary gender Jesse told himself too never ever let anyone to know the truth and the truth was better off buried after all male omegas were rare if anyone every found out...
Jesse job, reputation, his life everything was on the line.
Everything that Jesse has worked his ass for could all be gone if any of his teammates knew anything.
Jesse always had a motto play it smart play it safe and hey you might get to live that day.
It was a stupid motto, but that motto kept him alive for a long time and Jesse was in NO rush to find a mate anytime soon Jesse didn’t like the idea of being vulnerable and submissive that scared Jesse to put a totally trust into someone that could stab our back any minute.
That was until Jesse meet Charlie Hudson a detective in major crimes of the St. Johns police department when Jesse was hired. Hudson was an alpha that never backed down to a challenge that always had his companion with him a German Shepheard name rex by his side never leaving him Hudson was a stubborn old soul that attracted Jesse.
Jesse fell head over heels and that wasn’t good news for Jesse, but the hard truth was that Jesse always felt at peace around him, always happy, always laughing but there was a problem...
Hudson was now dating the one and only head of forensics Sarah Truong, a beta that had always had a thing for him along with Hudson liking her first not only that they were engaged.
Yeah, which was fine because Jesse needed to stick to being alone because being alone was what kept Jesse alive all this time attachments weren’t an option not when Hudson could instantly find one small misshape and find out his secondary gender.
