Chapter 1: Kile, Rin and Gine
“Mom, I don’t get why you care so much about these freaks?”
“Don’t say that! There’s nothing wrong with your brother and sister!”
“Really? One’s a furless freak and the other is a giant freak. Hmph~! More importantly, their Power Levels are as weak as my stupid little brother!”
“Power Levels aren’t everything… You’ll understand when you’re older.”
In the dark stone hovel, there were three huge egg-shaped glass pods filled with a yellowish nutrient solution. There was a silver metal stand on the bottom and a big silver nipple-like shape at the top. On the left was a cute little pale-skinned baby with spiky black hair, floating in the middle of the tank. He had a long brown furry monkey tail wiggling around behind his ass, which was covered by a silver mechanical ‘diaper’, hooked up to a tube at the bottom. Likely to prevent feces and urine from getting into the nutrient solution.
In the middle was a particularly huge ‘little girl’. The baby girl wasn’t even a toddler yet, but her size was much bigger than her two brothers. She had long pink hair floating around, pale skin like her brothers and a fluffy brown tail. On the right side though, the boy also had long black hair, but it wasn’t spiky at all. More like his sister. He had a tail, but it was furless, looking a little strange. It was also thicker and more like a snake with pale skin instead of scales.
“I’m leaving, Mom.” The little boy with long, spiky black hair looked up at his gentle mother and was a little solemn, “I’m going to be joining Prince Vegeta’s Team.”
“Prince Vegeta?” The woman with medium-length, messy black hair was only 163 cm tall, but she looked like a giant compared to the tiny boy. She bent down and hugged her son, “Be careful, Raditz. I’ve heard a lot of bad things…”
“Don’t worry Mom. I’m not stupid.” He hugged her back and smiled confidently, “I’m gonna be a powerful warrior like my father someday! Until then, I need to survive!”
“Yeah… I believe in you.” Gine started crying and trembling, almost crushing the poor boy when she used a little too much strength. Fortunately, Saiyans aren’t nearly as powerful when they aren’t ‘charged’ with Ki. Otherwise, even on Planet Vegeta, which is dense enough to have 10 times Earth’s gravity, they would likely destroy the world by accident. Even a ‘weakling’ Meat Distributor like Gine has a Power Level of 2,000… Basically a Planetoid Planetary Deity in terms of maximum destructive power.
The little boy in the right tank opened his dark-brown eyes and saw that scene. There was a slight smirk on his cute, feminine face, but then he closed his eyes again and drifted back into deep sleep. There was a scary purple ‘Danger Cat’ nearby and he didn’t want to draw any attention.
“Hmmm~! Whis, did you hear something?”
A purple-skinned ‘hairless’ sphinx-like cat-man wearing a lot of golden jewelry, reminiscent of ancient Egyptian Pharaohs, was gorging himself in the Palace of Vegeta. However, he stopped eating for a moment and looked over at his ‘attendant’, who was a tall, light-blue skinned, purple-eyed, extremely effeminate man with particularly conspicuous tall white hair. The hair was literally sticking straight up toward the ceiling for about half a meter, curling a little backwards at the tip. He wore fancy maroon, black and gold robes, with a blue and gold staff in his right hand. The head of the staff was a light blue ring, with a black orb in the center. There was also a similar light-blue ring or ‘halo’, which almost looked like it was sticking to the back of his head and hanging down in front of his collar bone. However, it wasn’t actually touching his body at all.
“Hohoho~! I’m sure it’s nothing, Lord Beerus.”
“Hmph~! Whatever~!”
A little boy with spiky black hair and a very high hairline was peeking over at the two strangers with an angry expression on his cute face. They treated his father, the King of this planet, of the entire Saiyan Race, like a common waiter or servant! But there was nothing he could do about it. Just like Frieza… Their people could trample on the lives of countless weaker Races, but in the end, they were just slaves the moment someone stronger showed up.
“One day, I’ll make them all pay the price…”

A while later, little Saiyan kids were fighting and wrestling, some non-combatant Saiyan women were carrying tons of meat and pushing carts full of booze around in the ‘streets’. Okay, there weren’t any streets. Just a dry, red, cracked land, with some dark green moss growing on it. The gravity on this planet was so high that ordinary life and creatures shouldn’t be able to survive or exist. Even the atmosphere should be much thicker than on Earth.
But a bunch of mostly black-haired, brown or black eyed Saiyan men were just hanging out. Standing around. Chatting about their conquests, fighting skills and eating haunches of meat or drinking booze. Their brown monkey tails wiggled around cutely, but their faces and muscular arms had a lot of scars visible. Every man, woman and child was wearing Frieza Force Battle Armor. Which had golden or white spaulders. The material on the chest was brown, white or black, while the part covering the abs was usually the same color as the spaulders. They also wore blue, stretchy body-suits under their armor for the most part. For women, their Battle Suits usually included a small skirt, while the men just had some pieces of armor off on the sides of their hips. Both sexes had similar white boots, with golden, thicker material covering the toes.
Those Saiyan buildings were very strange in many ways. For example, they had no doors. Not inside or outside. The beige stony material looked almost like it was the shell of some sea creature. There were glass circular green ‘windows’ bulging out at random across the ceilings and walls. Along with big spikes and what looked like hollow tubes.
A particularly tall and handsome Saiyan man with spiky black hair was walking down the cracked street, carrying a green bag under his right arm. He had a conspicuous cross-shaped scar on his left cheek. He walked over to one of the meat distribution buildings and stood at the entrance with a smirk. A chubby Saiyan woman looked over at the man who entered curiously, then smiled.
“What’s wrong? No warm welcome, Gee-Nay?”
“Huh? Bardock?! You’re here!” A short and skinny Saiyan girl looked over in shock, then grinned and skipped over, putting her hands around his waist. Then she took off the white gloves on her hands that she was just using to chop up meat…
“Things sure are crazy around town today.”
“Yeah, it’s not that often everyone comes back.”
Their brown tails wiggled around in excitement. Then Bardock asked, “Where’s Raditz?”
“Off world. He’s in the military now, teamed up with Prince Vegeta on some planet.” Gine smiled wryly, “I seriously doubt they’ll make it back for this.”
“Wow, Prince Vegeta huh? I wouldn’t wanna be stuck on a ship with that one…” Bardock looked up for a few seconds and then back down at his beautiful mate, “How’s Kakarot doing? Is he still in a nursing capsule?”
“He is… It’s just about time to let him out though! You should see him, come on!” Then she pointed toward the back door, er, ‘archway’ and ran over happily. He followed closely behind while smiling gently.
“Still small, huh?” Bardock ignored the giant pink-haired baby girl and the normal-sized, feminine baby boy on the right, entirely focusing his attention on his ‘real’ son.
“I think he may be a late bloomer. He looks just like you though, don’t you think?” Gine giggled, “He certainly has his father’s ‘hair’, for better or worse. Hehehmm~!”
Bardock’s expression became serious, then grim, “After dark… I’m going to steal a pod for him.”
“Huh?”
“We’re going to send our son to another world.”
“Huh?! You’ve gotta be kidding!”
“Gee-Nay, I’m serious.”
“Have you gone insane?!” Gine looked up at him with her hands clenched, “Why would we abandon our son like that?! He hasn’t even learned how to talk yet!”
“With his latent abilities, he’s destined to be sent away… Probably somewhere horrible.” Bardock looked back towards the floating boy in the glass egg, “So we’re going to see to it that he at least grows up on a decent planet.”
“No, he’s far too young for that…” Gine looked over at her son and shook her head.
“I don’t think we can afford to wait much longer.”
“And what does that mean?”
“Because of Frieza…” Bardock looked over at her and turned back towards Goku, “I think he’s afraid of the Legendary Super Saiyan appearing one day.”
“Hold on, the Super Saiyan? That’s only… That’s just a children’s fairy tale Bardock!”
“I know…” Bardock smiled and shook his head, “The problem is, I think he’s still bothered by the legend. And I can’t imagine he’d wanna take any chances… I get the feeling that death is on its way for us.”
Gine had a horrified expression, but then sighed and looked over at her other two children, “What about Rin and Kile?”
“Who?”
“Rin and Kile. Our other son and daughter.”
“I’m sorry, what?” Bardock looked over at the giant baby girl that was curled up in an extra-large nursing capsule. He looked at the pink hair, then at his mate, and back again. The baby was about the same size as the ‘mother’ and she looked nothing like either of them.
“They’re not, I didn’t give birth to them.” Gine quickly explained while waving her hands nervously, “I found them in the badlands when I was out hunting one day. I think… I think someone abandoned them because of their differences.”
“They’re certainly… Different.”

“I’m sorry Gine… I could only steal one pod. I know you love those two kids-”
“Rin and Kile.”
“Yeah, Rin and Kile… But maybe… Maybe I’m wrong. At least, the four of us will be together in the end. Whatever happens.”
“Yeah… Kakarot and Raditz… I hope they’ll grow up healthy and strong.”
Gine was laying on Bardock’s muscular chest with tears in her eyes. The two of them returned ‘home’, to their stone hovel, which has no doors and way too many windows. However, there were no voyeurs, because a lot of Saiyans were practically asexual. It was very rare to have sex, much less breed. Bardock and Gine were a rare exception. Otherwise, there would be way more than just a few thousand Saiyans on the whole planet.
When the new day dawned, an ominous aura suppressed the whole world. No matter what though, most people still went about their regular duties. Gine woke up alone, as usual and wasn’t too surprised or upset. Then she went to work. She was effectively a butcher. People bring over some giant dinosaurs and other random animals. She chops them up into steaks, then someone else transports them to restaurants.
Suddenly the ‘sun’ started getting brighter and she went outside to look up at the sky. A lot of other people were just standing around and looking up at the big red ‘star’ that was getting closer by the second… At first they didn’t understand. But when they finally understood, it was already too late!
The atmosphere turned into superheated plasma and it was impossible to see anything anymore! The adults were still okay, but the children were deep fried, then incinerated before the sky and the ground exploded with immense heat and more importantly, violent, evil Ki!
“No!” Most people couldn’t react, but Gine was still able to use all of her strength to resist for a few moments. She flew over to the back room, where those two nursery capsules were located. The roof disappeared, everything melted, evaporated or disintegrated directly. Even her 2,000 Power Level with all her Ki working at full strength still couldn’t keep her skin from burning away rapidly and her eyes were almost blinded as she reached out to use her dying body to protect those two children for just a moment longer.
“I’m sorry…” She couldn’t speak, could barely even think, but through Ki, her thoughts were passed onto those two ‘babies’. Then she lost consciousness. After all, her physical body was destroyed, without anything left.
“Bardock?” When she opened her eyes again, she found herself standing in a strange, misty world. She saw that handsome man standing in front of her… In a line. Well, there were also a lot of other familiar faces and figures. They were all standing in line, with simple golden halos floating above their heads. Whether they were old, young, even children or babies, everyone had to stand in a long line to reach a huge, ancient, Chinese building in the distance. It was there where the Ki-Bodies of the recently deceased would await judgment from King Yemma, Enma Daio, Yama or ‘Enma-chan’ as Goku likes to call him. A gigantic red-skinned ‘Oni’ or Ogre, who wore a purple dress suit, with an orange tie…
“Gine?” Bardock looked back and smiled wryly, “Looks like you’re here too.”
“Where is this place?” She looked around curiously, “Didn’t we die?”
“We died.” He shrugged, “This is obviously some sort of ‘afterlife’. Hahaha~! I never thought the Afterlife was actually real…”
“What happened? Was it Frieza?” Gine hugged him tightly while asking.
“Yeah… I tried to stop him. I just… It was useless.” Bardock shook his head and looked behind her back at the chubby woman who worked at the same shop as Gine. There were also some little boys and girls, teenagers, an old woman, a beefy bald guy…
“Gine, where are the children?”
“What?” After he put her down, she looked around, forward and backward… There were quite a few Saiyan babies, but none of them were Rin or Kile!
“How is that possible?! They were right with me! I was hugging them in my arms! I tried my best to protect them, but-”
“Maybe this place doesn’t work that way?” Bardock shrugged, “How many people die every moment in the Universe? They can’t all wind up here, or this line would be endless.”
“That makes sense…”
The two of them talked and chatted together, like a lot of the other Saiyans. Well, they were already dead. Aside from being angry at Frieza for betraying and massacring everyone, they moved on pretty quickly. Only Gine kept worrying about Rin and Kile.
“I hope you’re okay… I hope you’re not scared without your mother?”
Actually, there were other ‘lines’. The Saiyans were all relatively powerful in terms of Ki and mass murder, so they were strong and evil enough to have their own bodies after they died. Regular humans on Earth were basically just little clouds or wisps. There were also a bunch of other Hells for different regions of space, et cetera. King Yama was in charge of Earth’s Check-In Station, not necessarily ‘all’ Check-In Stations across the Universe. But considering that Planet Vegeta doesn’t have its own, personal Check-In Station, they were diverted over to this one.
“Kile?!” At a certain point, Gine noticed a floating baby boy in the distance! He was sleeping on a fluffy yellow cloud, but partially obscured by mist…
“Gine! Stop!” Bardock reached out and tried to stop her, but Gine already tried to fly over to her ‘son’... Then she fell. She couldn’t fly in this place! Those thick clouds didn’t stop her from falling, but then she reached out and grabbed that hairless white tail!
“Mmm~!” Gine suddenly couldn’t breathe! She looked around in horror and found that she was floating in space… More importantly, she reached up and noticed her golden halo disappeared! Oddly enough, Gine was wearing her green battlesuit again. Apparently it was ‘restored’ along with the rest of her physical body?
She looked around at the big piece of rocky wreckage floating nearby. Then she saw those two babies. Gine was still holding Kile’s tail, so she pulled him closer into her arms. Trying to protect him from the void with her burning white Ki, but it wasn’t very useful. Or necessary. Being in the vacuum of space or even the destruction of the planet weren’t enough to wake up the two sleepy babies. Rin was so huge, even as a baby, but Gine still hugged the two of them tightly and tried to fly around. Looking for a spaceship or something, anything! She was going to suffocate soon…
At least, that should be the case. However, she noticed that every time Kile exhaled, it would create a bunch of hot air. Breathable air, both oxygen and carbon dioxide. Rin also exhaled air, even more than Kile, but it wasn’t breathable and would cool much faster. Turning into liquid, then ice. As a Saiyan, no matter how gentle she might seem compared to other Saiyans, she still didn’t hesitate to use Kile’s breath to keep herself alive in the void. She also kept herself warm by using Ki and her giant, naked baby daughter’s body to cover her exposed head and hands. The rest of her body was wearing the special battle-suit, so it wasn’t that big of a deal.
“I’m sorry…”
Eventually, Gine ran out of Ki and had to take a break. She couldn’t find anything but rocks and tiny pieces of metal. Even if there were some pieces of various starships and other technologies, they were all space trash. Everything was destroyed. Frieza and his forces made sure that there weren’t any Ki Signatures on their Scouters before they left. They obviously also checked to make sure there weren’t escape pods or other kinds of technology. Maybe they managed to notice Kile and Rin, but didn’t care, because something with such a low amount of Ki, especially little baby Saiyans, couldn’t possibly survive in the vacuum for long… Typical supervillain mentality.
“What should I do now?” She floated in the void, looking around at the dark universe in the distance, with Vegeta’s sun at her back. The radiation from the star without being filtered by an atmosphere was very powerful. Strong enough to give radiation burns or even heat burns to a normal human, but a Saiyan with decent strength didn’t need to worry about it. The two babies were also completely fine. Their skin is just as pale as the day she first found them in the desert.
Eventually she had to go to sleep, holding Kile’s tiny face close to her own, while behind hugged in the arms of her giant baby daughter.
“Bardock… Raditz… Kakarot…”

A few days passed like that. Rin’s plump baby body was getting skinnier and her breathing was weakening. Gine was also very haggard and almost skeletal. Saiyans have a very fast metabolism and need to eat extremely large amounts of food every day in order to maintain their powerful bodies… On the other hand, Kile was totally fine. Almost the same as if he was in the nutrient solution. His body looked just as cute and healthy as before. He also kept exhaling all this time. With the heat radiated by their three bodies, they were basically surrounded by a big bubble of hot air. So hot that Gine was sweating, which made her dehydrate faster.
Why did hot air bother her, when unmitigated solar radiation was totally fine? Actually, the radiation wasn’t fine either. She just had a lot of Ki at the start and now, she was running extremely low. Kile and Rin were also exuding Ki and it basically existed everywhere, even in the ‘vacuum’ of space, but obviously it wasn’t enough to keep up with her consumption.
“No… Don’t!” When she woke up one day, she saw a horrifying scene. Rin was still sleeping, but she was biting and chewing on Kile’s left arm! The whole arm was completely ripped off and devoured in a few seconds. Then Rin’s skinny body puffed up suddenly, completely restoring herself to the healthy appearance in the nutrient solution back then.
“Kile!” Gine was surprised to see that the wound didn’t bleed. Instead, it rapidly healed in a few seconds. The baby didn’t even wake up or cry at all. Honestly, Gine was starting to wonder if the two of them were really ‘alive’, but this…
“Are you two really Saiyans?” She couldn’t help but feel a little strange, but then shook her head, “No… They might be hybrids? Like the Namekians and a giant Race…”
Can Namekians actually reproduce sexually? She didn’t really know or care. There were plenty of Races out there that had amazing regenerative abilities, but for the most part, they were too weak to compete with Saiyans. What good is it to be able to regenerate limbs when your whole planet can be destroyed by an angry Oozaru?
“I’m sorry… Forgive me, Kile…” Gine sighed and knew what she had to do in order to not only survive, but also find a way out for her two children. So, she hesitated a bit, but eventually chose Kile’s right hand. She put his pinky finger in her mouth and bit down hard…
“Ow!” Then she had tears in her eyes as she looked at the unbroken skin on that tiny pinky! At most, there were tooth marks for a moment, before returning to normal. Fortunately, she avoided chipping or losing any teeth, but it still hurt quite a bit. Then she noticed a few drops of blood and pieces of flesh that were floating in the air already. They were left behind when Rin bit her brother’s arm off and she wasn’t able to slurp them all up in her unconscious state.
“This…” Gine widened her eyes in shock and horror when she saw the blood multiplying rapidly! Not just the blood, but the flesh was also growing… As if it would grow another ‘Kile’ in a few hours if she didn’t do anything. Without hesitating, she quickly swallowed up those droplets of blood and tiny pieces of skin or meat. It only took a moment for her haggard and skinny frame to transform into the healthy appearance from before! Not only that, but she also felt a lot stronger…
“Amazing… And it tastes so good… Ugh, no, something’s wrong?” Then she buckled over in pain and groaned, feeling like she was going to have explosive diarrhea or start menstruating… Maybe both?
Fortunately the pain went away after a few hours, but she was still really scared. As a Saiyan, her ability to digest food is already amazing enough. It’s rare to ever get sick or even feel ‘full’, but with just a few drops of blood and pieces of flesh, she was totally stuffed for such a long time. That medium-length, messy black hair that drifted around in the void, also grew to several meters long! Even her short brown fur on her tail became extremely fluffy, looking more like a fox or dog than a monkey.
“I feel so much stronger now…” Gine frowned, squeezing her fists tightly and looking down at her hands. Those short fingernails also grew a few centimeters longer and looked like sharp claws. She could feel the uncomfortable sensation inside her shoes as well, because her toenails were on the verge of poking holes in them because they were so strong and long.
“Hmmm…” However, even without any special tools, she had her own tricks. With a smirk, she quickly used blue Ki to form a small blade. First she cut her super long fingernails and ‘filed’ them down to normal. Then chopped off most of her hair, leaving it very short, because she knew it was still growing quickly. Then she clipped her toenails and put her boots back on her dainty little feet.
“That’s better~! Hehe~!”
Now that she was full of energy and feeling refreshed, Gine decided that it was time to leave. FTL travel was possible, but not for a little Saiyan girl with only 4,500 Power Level. The Ki can prevent issues like increasing mass when accelerating toward the speed of light, but reaching that speed and maintaining it wasn’t something she could do… So if she wanted to reach the closest solar system, which was lightyears away, it would take dozens of years of flying through space with all her strength. Of course, if she became stronger in that time, things could change. Either way, she was prepared to do whatever it took.
“Wait… Is that? A ship!” However, right when she traveled only a few million kilometers, she saw a big brown starship in the distance. It was shaped like a caterpillar, with many blue spots on the sides, which were portholes. The mouth opened and closed, devouring the various chunks of Planet Vegeta. Those high-density and precious ores were extremely valuable. But what was even more precious were living or dead Saiyans! Especially now that they were almost extinct…
Gine wasn’t very surprised when she saw dozens of insectoid creatures emerging from the sides of the caterpillar in a huge swarm. They had brown, green or purple carapace, but seemed to be either male or neutral in terms of outward secondary sexual characteristics. At least from the aesthetics of a Saiyan, they looked more like ‘food’ than people. However, they were all carrying silver blaster rifles and firing them at Gine, along with those two seemingly harmless babies.
“Haaah!” However, a big wave of clear fiery Ki erupted from her body, easily bouncing away all of those brown energy orbs. When they reached a certain distance away, they exploded into bright green ‘fireworks’. Then Gine threw her palms out rapidly and sent hundreds of small blue Ki Blasts out in a couple seconds! Every attack blasted an unlucky bug-man into pieces, along with their weapons and equipment.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t any ‘air’ for her to hear their screams of terror or understand what they were saying. So she just kept attacking until there weren’t any enemies left… Then those big caterpillar eyes lit up with green light, firing out two huge deathrays!
“No!” She couldn’t react before those beams washed over her and hit the cute sleeping babies behind her back! Even though their bodies seemed unharmed and they didn’t even wake up, both Kile and Rin were launched into the distance at an incredibly fast speed. On the other hand, the caterpillar turned around and was covered in green Ki… It was going to escape!
“Aaah!” She fought back her instincts and didn’t save the children first. Instead, she charged forward at her fastest speed! After breaking through one of the blue portholes, she rampaged around through the corridors. Punching and kicking any of the insectoids that tried to stop her! It didn’t take long before she reached the command center at the front of the ‘ship’, which was located somewhere inside that big bug head.
“Stop! I said stop! Or-or I’ll kill you all! I’m a vicious, evil Saiyan!” Gine released her powerful aura, which made the whole ship start to shake and tremble, not to mention those dozens of terrified bug-people on the Bridge. They all raised their four insectoid arms and surrendered immediately.
“Please, please don’t kill us! We didn’t think anyone would be here! We just wanted to harvest some ore from an asteroid field!”
A big, fat, pink-carapace covered bug with a very feminine and high-pitch voice seemed to be their captain. ‘She’ kneeled down, along with the rest of her crew, after they turned off the Hyperspace Ki-Drive.
“I don’t care about that.” Gine breathed a sigh of relief and put her aura away, “Turn the ship around and go pick up my babies! Immediately!”
“Yes! Yes! Whatever you say, uh, Captain!” The pink bug-girl quickly gave the order and the other insectoids commanded the caterpillar to fly over, ‘eating’ those two babies, along with a bunch of other big chunks of rock and metal. Inside of the mouth was basically a huge cargo bay and the big pincers only functioned when it was breaking down super-large objects. Those little babies, no matter how big Rin might be, were just tiny little pebbles in comparison. Maybe smaller.
“What are your orders now, Captain?” After the initial fear was gone, the pink bug-girl became a lot calmer, “Should we continue salvaging in this asteroid field or…”
Author’s Note: Like way back when I wrote Another Summoner Story, I honestly should’ve broken up the different Arcs into their own Volumes. Some of them, especially this last one, were basically their own story. Like you could read this and not really get spoiled until way, way later. But if you do want to read Another Summoner Story, it’s on QQ and AO3. All 680 chapters that I wrote were already posted basically the first day I joined this site. But… That was clearly a mistake, because the story essentially died because I posted everything within a day and then nobody else saw or cared about it after that.
I’ll say this now, the QQ Another Summoner Story is a lot less polished than the AO3 version towards the end. Because eventually I started actually editing the chapters.
