Pain. Fear. Torture. Love

Summary:

S/N experienced the worst of human cruelty when she was captured by Hydra. Every second under Madame Hydra's thumb was a test of endurance, a sadistic game between life and death. But there was something that kept her alive. Something stronger than suffering.

Work Text:

The smell of blood and iron filled the air. Chains clinked against the cold concrete walls while a light bulb flickered faintly on the ceiling. S/N could barely keep his eyes open, his head hung forward, and his body was covered in cuts and bruises.

The pain was an old acquaintance.

Madame Hydra walked slowly around the room, her heeled boots echoing on the dirty floor. Her gaze was full of admiration and obsession.

- You're fascinating, you know that? - her voice was almost gentle, a perverse contrast to the surroundings. She knelt in front of S/N and held her chin, forcing her to face her. - Your body... your stamina... Your genetic lineage is a rare gift.

S/N spat blood in her face.

- Go to hell.

Madame Hydra just laughed, wiping the blood off with her fingers before tasting the ruddy substance with the tip of her tongue.

- Rebel... I like that.

She stood up and nodded to one of the Hydra agents next to her. The man turned a knob on the control panel, and an electric charge ran through Y/N's body. Her muscles contracted violently, and a cry of pain escaped through her lips.

Wanda...

She tried to keep her mind on her. Her face. The warm touch of her hands. But the pain pulled her into darkness, into an abyss of endless suffering.

Avengers Barracks

Wanda Maximoff was on the verge of madness.

Her eyes glowed a menacing red as she paced back and forth in the control room. Her heart was beating at a frantic pace. Natasha Romanoff watched her with her arms crossed, trying to remain calm, but her own anger and frustration were at their limit.

- We need to find her. Now! - Wanda exploded, her red energy crackling around her fingers.

Natasha nodded.

- And we will. But we mustn't act impulsively.

- Impulsive?! - Wanda turned to her, her eyes burning with hatred and despair. - They're hurting her, Nat! Every second that passes, S/N suffers more!

- I know. - Natasha's voice faltered for a moment. She swallowed. - I know, Wanda...

Wanda took a deep breath, trying to calm down.

Steve entered the room with a tablet in hand.

- We have a possible location,” he said. - An underground complex in Eastern Europe, a former Hydra base that has recently started operating again.

Wanda's eyes lit up with determination.

- So what are we waiting for?

Hydra captivity

S/N gasped, trying to catch her breath. His body was shaking from the electric shocks and the wounds all over his skin. The heat of her own power tried to emerge, but she was too weak to control it.

Madame Hydra approached again. This time, she sat down in front of her, crossing her legs elegantly.

- You could have been something great with us, you know that? - she said, tracing the line of S/N's jaw with her fingers. - So much strength... So much stamina... You're a masterpiece of genetics, darling.

- I'd rather die than serve you.

Madame Hydra smiled.

- Ah, I love it when they say that. It makes everything more fun.

She leaned in, her lips brushing S/N's ear.

- I know about you. I know about what you are... what your body can do. Your unique genetic condition... It fascinates me. You have no idea how much research Hydra has already conducted on beings like you.

S/N tried to pull away, but the chains held her firmly.

- You'll never break me.

Madame Hydra took a sharp blade and slowly traced Y/N's arm, creating a thin, long cut.

- We'll see.

Rescue

The Hydra base was shaking with explosions.

Natasha and Steve led the attacks down the corridor, eliminating any Hydra agents who came along. But Wanda...

Wanda was a hurricane of fury.

Her body floated in the air, her hands glowing with crimson energy as she destroyed everything in her path. Doors were ripped off, walls collapsed, soldiers were thrown at their own allies.

She could feel Y/N.

She could feel their pain, their suffering.

- I'm coming, my love...” she whispered.

Inside the cell, Madame Hydra looked up as she heard the alarms and explosions.

- It seems her little witch has arrived.

S/Nsmiled, her lips bloodied.

- And she's going to finish you off.

Madame Hydra laughed.

- We'll see...

The door was ripped off before she could react.

Wanda entered like a storm. Her eyes blazed with pure hatred, and without hesitation, she threw Madame Hydra against the wall with crushing force.

- Get your hands off her!

Madame Hydra coughed up blood, but smiled.

- Ah... It's finally here...

Wanda wasted no time. Within seconds, she made her faint, her mind invaded by horrors that the witch herself had conjured up.

Then she turned to S/N.

His heart broke to see her like that.

- My love... - her voice was a desperate whisper.

Wanda ran to her, undoing the chains with her magic.

S/N fell into her arms, weak but alive.

- I knew... you'd come...” S/Nmurmured.

Wanda held her face gently, her eyes watering.

- Always...

She sealed her lips to S/N's, a kiss full of love and desperation.

- Let's get you home.

After the storm

Days later, S/N was recovering in Avengers Tower.

Natasha stayed by her side whenever Wanda needed to rest.

- You really scared us, you know? - Natasha said, trying to look nonchalant, but her expression showed how much she cared.

S/N smiled weakly.

- I always find a way back...

Wanda entered the room at that moment, carrying a tray of food.

- And I'll never let them take you away again.

S/N took her hand and pulled her onto the bed, hugging her.

- I love you.

Wanda held her tightly, promising herself that she would never let anything like that happen again.

- I love you too.

And in that embrace, the world finally seemed safe again.

The night was heavy, suffocating.

S/N's room in Avengers Tower was spacious and comfortable, but lately, it felt more like a cell than a refuge. The darkness brought back memories that she tried to forget, but which seeped into her dreams like poison.

Wanda slept beside her, her arms wrapped around her body, as if she wanted to protect her even in her dreams. But it wasn't enough.

The shadows still found her.

S/N stirred in bed, her chest rising and falling rapidly. Her eyes squeezed shut as her subconscious dragged her back to the Hydra base.

The chains were there again, cold and heavy against her wounded skin. The smell of blood and sweat permeated the air.

She heard footsteps. The cruel, rhythmic sound of Madame Hydra's heels echoed in the cell.

- Do you really think you're going to get away with this, dear? - the woman's voice dripped with venom.

S/N tried to speak, but her throat was dry. The cold blade slid across her skin again, and she felt the burning pain course through her body.

She tried to gather her fire, to summon her power, but nothing would come.

- You're mine now. You will always be mine.

Madame Hydra leaned in, her lips almost touching her ear.

- You'll never get rid of me.

The scream echoed before she could stop it.

S/N woke up gasping, her body covered in sweat. Her eyes widened in the darkness of the room, and for a moment, she was still there.

She was still trapped.

She could still feel her touch.

"S/N?!"

Wanda's voice was filled with concern. The lights turned on automatically, revealing Wanda sitting on the bed, her eyes red and wide.

"Did you have another nightmare?"

S/N couldn't answer.

Her body was shaking uncontrollably. Her breathing was erratic. Her lungs felt too small to draw in the air she needed.

It's happening again...

The weight on her chest was crushing. The pain, suffocating.

Wanda immediately reached out her hands, holding S/N's.

"Breathe with me, my love." Her voice was soft, but firm. She began to breathe slowly, exaggeratedly, trying to guide her. "Inhale... Exhale..."

S/N tried to follow, but her lungs were closing, the panic growing like an uncontrollable fire.

"I... I can't..." Her voice came out shaky, and the desperation in her eyes made Wanda tighten her grip on her hands.

— Yes, you can. I'm here. — Wanda wrapped her arms around S/N, feeling her heart racing. — You're safe, S/N. You're here with me.

But it wasn't enough.

It wasn't real.

The shadows still crept around her, whispering Madame Hydra's name in her mind.

— I need help… — S/N whispered, her voice almost breaking.

Wanda didn't hesitate.

She grabbed her phone from the bedside table and dialed a number quickly.

— Natasha, come now.

Natasha arrived in less than five minutes.

She wore only a loose black t-shirt and shorts, clearly having just woken up, but her gaze was wide awake.

She knew that look.

The look of someone who had been through hell and back.

S/N was sitting on the bed, her knees drawn up against her chest, her eyes fixed on the floor.

Wanda moved away a little, giving Natasha space.

The spy walked over to the bed and sat down next to S/N, not saying anything for a moment. Just waiting. Silence hung between them. Until Natasha sighed. “I’ve been there.” S/Nsqueezed her eyes shut. She knew. Everyone knew what Natasha had been through. The red room. The torture. The merciless training. “I… I can’t…” S/N’s voice broke. Natasha reached out hesitantly before placing her hand gently on Y/N’s shoulder. “You can. But not alone.” Y/N’s eyes met Natasha’s. “How did you deal with it?” Natasha was silent for a long moment. Then she finally answered. “I didn’t. At least not at first. I tried to ignore it. Pretend it wasn’t there. But the past has a cruel way of finding you… So I stopped running.” S/N frowned. “How?”

Natasha turned to face her directly.

— I turned the pain into something of my own. Something that made me stronger. But more than that, I let people help me.

Natasha’s gaze fell on Wanda, who was watching them both intently, her eyes brimming with tears.

— You have Wanda. You have me. And we won’t let you face this alone.

S/N felt a lump in her throat.

— What if I never recover? What if I’m never the same again?

Natasha smiled slightly.

— You won’t be the same. But that doesn’t mean you’ll be weak. It means you’ll survive.

Wanda held S/N’s hand again.

— And I’ll be with you every step of the way.

S/N looked at both of them. At Wanda, who loved her with everything she had. At Natasha, who understood her pain better than anyone.

And for the first time since she came back from that hell, she felt that maybe… just maybe… she could get back on her feet.

The Next Days, the nightmares didn’t disappear immediately.

But they started to change.

Every time Madame Hydra showed up, S/N remembered Natasha’s words.

“Make the pain your own.”

She started talking about what happened.

Not all at once. But bits and pieces.

And Wanda listened. Always.

There were nights when S/N woke up screaming, and Wanda just hugged her, without saying anything, holding her until her body stopped shaking.

There were days when she didn’t want to get out of bed, and Natasha sat next to her, throwing a ball against the wall, waiting until S/N wanted to talk.

There was a day when she finally entered the training room and used her fire again.

And in that moment, as the flames danced around her, as the heat burned away her fear, she knew.

She was more than what had been done to her.

She was an Avenger.

She was S/N.

And no one would ever break her again.

The fire crackled softly in the fireplace, casting warm shadows across the walls of the room. S/N sat on the couch, a blanket covering her legs, watching the flames dance.

Since her rescue, the nights had still been hard. But there was something that made it more bearable.

Wanda.

The witch lay beside her, her head resting softly on her thigh. S/N's fingers slowly ran through Wanda's silky locks, while the other held her hand, tracing gentle circles on her palm.

The silence between them was comfortable, but S/N felt that there was something unspoken between them. Something that grew with each passing day.

Wanda looked up, her green eyes shining in the firelight.

“What are you thinking about?”

S/N hesitated for a moment before letting out a sigh.

“About you.”

A small smile curved Wanda’s lips.

“Is that good or bad?”

S/N let out a soft laugh.

“Always good. But I was also thinking about… us.”

Wanda arched an eyebrow, adjusting herself to sit across from S/N.

“What about us?”

S/N looked away for a moment, feeling a slight heat rise to her face.

“I’ve never really thanked you. For what you’ve done for me… For what you’ve been doing since I got back.”

Wanda frowned.

“You don’t need to thank me, S/N. I’d do anything for you.”

S/N cupped Wanda’s face in her hands, stroking her cheeks with her thumbs.

“I know. And that’s what scares me a little.”

Wanda tilted her head, confused.

“Scared?”

S/N nodded slowly.

“Because you make me want to stay. You make me want to get over all of this.”

Wanda blinked a few times, surprised by the confession.

“Is that a bad thing?”

“No.”

S/N smiled, leaning her forehead against hers. “It’s just… new to me.”

Wanda closed her eyes for a moment, absorbing each word.

“You’ve never been alone, my love. And you never will be.”

S/N felt her heart tighten.

She wanted to say so many things. She wanted to show Wanda exactly how she felt.

And then, without hesitation, she captured the witch’s lips in a soft but deep kiss.

Wanda sighed against her lips, pulling her closer. S/N’s hands slid around Wanda’s waist, holding her tightly as they deepened the kiss.

Wanda’s fingers tangled in S/N’s hair, tugging lightly, eliciting a low moan from her throat.

“I love you…” Wanda murmured between kisses.

S/N smiled against her lips.

“I love you too.”

But then, something changed in the air.

Wanda pulled away slightly, her gaze narrowing.

“But there’s something that’s bothering me…”

S/N frowned.

“What?”

Wanda crossed her arms, feigning indignation.

“I know you attract a lot of attention, Y/N. But lately, Natasha has been really… close to you.”

S/N blinked, surprised.

“Are you jealous?”

Wanda lifted her chin.

“No!” She hesitated. “Maybe a little…”

S/N laughed, pulling Wanda onto her lap.

“Natasha’s my friend. She’s helped me a lot.” But the only woman I want in my arms right now… is you.

Wanda smiled, but still gave her a suspicious look.

“Then it’s better that it stays that way. Because I’m a powerful witch, and I don’t like sharing what’s mine.”

S/N felt a shiver run down her spine at the possession in Wanda’s voice.

“Yours, huh?”

Wanda cupped S/N’s face and whispered against her lips:

“Mine.”

And then, she kissed her hungrily.

S/N moaned against Wanda’s mouth as the witch’s hands slid down her body, pulling her shirt and tracing her muscles with her fingertips.

Desire burned between them like pure fire.

“Wanda… I need you,” S/N said.

“Oh, I need you too, my love,” she replied, kissing her cheek.

“No, I need you. Right now.” A lot." S/N replied breathlessly.

S/N was lying on the couch, her pants off, leaving her in her underwear, and Wanda was kneeling on the couch next to her. "I need you too," she repeated. "But people might show up."

"There's no one in the compound. We can be quick. We can do it right here. Right now."

She laughed. "You're insatiable!"

"No, seriously! Look..." S/N reached into his underwear and pulled out his cock, which was hard and erect.

"You're so naughty, baby," Wanda said, but she didn't object anymore. Instead, she reached up and stroked it with her hands, and S/N moaned.

"That feels good, but... I mean... inside."

"Oh. Well, okay." Wanda stood up and quickly stripped off her leggings, panties, and t-shirt, leaving only her bra.

"Yeah," she breathed.

"Are you sure?" Wanda asked.

"Oh, I'm sure. Come sit on my lap." She climbed on top of S/N and straddled her, and S/N guided herself into her, and she lowered herself onto her. They both gasped. "Yes, that feels good. So good. Ride me," S/n moaned.

Wanda began to ride her, moving her hips up and down. S/N thrust her hips up as well, and they both groaned and moaned, and looked into each other's eyes.

"Oh, God, that's so hot," Wanda gasped.

"Yes," S/n panted. "I love you."

"I love you too," Wanda moaned.

S/n grabbed her ass with both hands and began to fuck her harder. Wanda cried out and rode S/n faster, and then suddenly, they came, together.

"Oh, that was amazing," Wanda sighed as she caught her breath.

"Yes," S/N breathed. "Amazing."

Wanda lay back against her chest and cuddled against S/n. "I guess you were right. It was exactly what I needed."

"Me too," S/N murmured.

They lay there like that for a few minutes, enjoying the glow.

And that night, between sighs, moans and whispered promises, S/N and Wanda lost themselves in each other, forgetting the world outside.

They belonged to each other. And nothing would change that.
