It was a beautiful Day in Basel and Israel's Yuval Raphael was preparing her beautiful song A New Day Will Rise. It was a beautiful and elegant song. Surely everyone would love it.
Yet not everyone did. Yuval Raphael had found out recently the other Contestants had created a group chat. Yet, curiously, she had not been invited to the group chat. Surely, this must be some Mistake? Yuval, seeing this was obviously a mistake, decided to ask the other Contestants to be added to the group chat as she wanted to participate in fun discussion with the others. She asked KAJ, the Group representing Sweden.
„What?“ said Jakob from KAJ „But the other Participants asked me to not add you to the group because you are pro-Israel“
Yuval was confused.
„But surely everyone is pro-Israel“ Yuval said, „We are on the right side of history and we are the right side to support.“
„We know,“ said Axel from KAJ, „But if we do not appear to be against Israel, the Fans will surely cancel us.“
„WHAT?“ Yuval shocked, „You care more about cancel than doing the right thing?„
Kevin from KAJ nodded.
„Yes“ Kevin from KAJ said, „If we don't follow the popular Opinion then everyone will surely cancel us.“
Yuval was disappointed. People cared more about cancel than being her Friend. Maybe she can ask someone else? Yuval found Shkodra Elektronike who were representing Albania. Maybe they can add Yuval to the Group?
„Hello Shkodra Elektronike,“ said Yuval, „Can I be in the group chat please?“
„Hello Yuval Raphael,“ said Beatriçe from Shkodra Elektronike, „We would love to add you to a group chat, but the other Contestants would be annoyed with us.“
„That's right,“ said Kolë from Shkodra Elektronike, „We would receive the greatest cancel of all time if we added you. We are sorry.“
Yuval was sad but she understood. Her empathy and kindness outweighed her sadness. Yuval decided to try elsewhere. She found Parg who was representing Armenia.
„Hello Parg,“ said Yuval, „I am the only Person being excluded from the 2025 Eurovision Group Chat. May you please add me?“
Parg looked sad.
„I would like to,“ said Parg, „But you are canceled on the Internet. If I helped you then I would too be cancel.“
This was getting her no where. Everyone was saying the same things to her. Repeated again and again. Always the same Story. No one would add her to the group chat because the person who added her would receive the same cancelation she has received. Yuval decided that she would not ask any more. Even though she was sad. No one would ever add her. She would be alone and outside of the group for the entire Competition. But she decided. Decided she would not let that upset her. She was better than that. She was Israeli. She met hate with the biggest Compassion.
A Week later and it was the Week of the contest. It was the Final of the Event and it was finally time for Israel's beautiful song. She performed her incredible song A New Day Will Rise. The audience was incredibly moved by her beatiful performance and incredible singing skills. Even though some ignorant people tried to boo and jeer at her, the security guards quickly took them away from the contest. The EBU had learned from what happened to Eden Golan last year. Even though she had saved the contest in 2024, some ignorant people were still booing at Israel.
Yuval returned to the green room. She was happy. She had performed her Song the best that she could.
„You did so well Yuval!“ said Asaf Mishiyev from Mamagama. He was also Jewish and part-Israeli so he understood the pain Yuval was going through. Even though it was kept quiet to keep him from being cancel, he was also from Azerbaijan, another country being canceled online by ''Activists.''
„Thank you Asaf,“ said Yuval, „You have done amazing tonight as well. Together we will make Israel and Azerbaijan proud.“
„You two are incredible,“ said Mariam Shengelia from Georgia, „You both have incredible Strength and Spirit.“
She too knew the power of the cancel.
„Thank you too Miriam,“ Yuval said but suddenly, the Artists heard a loud crashing sound. Men with guns ran into the green room. It was just like last year. They were here again. The Terrorists.
„Eurovision is against Hamas and we will stop it forever!“ said one of the Terrorists, „If you like Eurovision then you should have sided with Israel!“
The Artists were all very scared. Then the Terrorists approached the table with the Albanian Delegation! They were holding Shkodra Elektronike at gunpoint! The two Albanian Artists looked over at Yuval, very scared. They knew that Yuval held the power of Israel, but they also knew they had refused to add her to the group chat!
„YUVAL!!“ said Kolë from Shkodra Elektronike, „We are so sorry! Please forgive us!“
„Yes,“ said Beatriçe from Shkodra Elektronike, „We are sorry Yuval! Please save us! We need you! We all need you!“
„Heh heh heh heh,“ the Terrorist laughed, „It is no good! You did not add her to the group chat so she will not save you now! She will surely not use her Power of Israel to save you after you all rejected her!“
But the Terrorists did not know Yuval at all! Even though the other Contestants had rejected her, she would not allow this! She had to save them! It was what any Israeli would do! So Yuval stood up. The light glowed on her.
„No!“ said the Hamas Terrorist, „Not this again! But they rejected you! They did not add you to the Chat!“
„They did not.“ said Yuval, „But I will not allow you to kill anyone. In my Country we believe that life is sacred, we save lives. Unlike you Terrorists.“
And then Yuval used her energy and unleashed the Power of Israel on the Terrorists. Israel had saved Eurovision again.
„Yuval!“ said Kolë from Shkodra Elektronike, „You saved us! You saved all of us!“
„All cheer for Yuval!“ said Jakob from KAJ. And everyone cheered and clapped for her. Everyone loved her now, just as everyone had loved Eden Golan the previous Year when she also saved the contest from Hamas Terrorism. Everyone loved and cheered for Israel again just as they did previously.
„It was nothing,“ said Yuval, „I was just doing what anyone would have done.“
„A hero and so modest,“ said Tommy Cash, admiring her bravery, „By the way. We have now added you to the group chat. You are a Eurovision Song Contest 2025 Participant, after all. Also you saved us.“
„Thank you a lot,“ said Yuval, „I am so happy to finally be inside the Chat.“
„Enjoy it Yuval,“ said Go-Jo, „You saved everyone here“
At that moment it was announced that Israel had won the contest. Everyone loved Yuval and Israel now. Yuval went onto the stage to receive her Trophy for winning the Event and another Trophy for saving the contest from Terror. She had saved everyone here. It was at that moment she understood. Europe would truly be lost without Israel. Yuval smiled as the crowd cheered and she held her trophies high. She had so much to be proud of.
