Satoshi Asher Ketchum, or as everyone knows him as Ash Ketchum, one of the famous people in the world, becoming the world champion at only age 10, 7 years later you may think he would be living like he was on top of the world.
But instead he was drinking his pain away, he didn’t care that he was only 17 he was just trying to get his mind off everything that has happened over the years, including the multiple times he had to save the world, what happened to Dawn, and his breakup with Serena recently.
He was in a bar in some town in the northeastern part of Unova called Gravesfield, he didn’t know much about the town what he heard about the place he got from his friend Cilan, since he was also, apparently, a history connoisseur, from what he remembered the town was some Galarian colony for people who wanted to be free from religious persecution, even though from what he heard they weren’t that tolerant themselves. The town also had one of the biggest graveyards in Unova.
He had just finished stopping Team Plasma from freezing the Unova region over, so they can take it over, he thinks, he had left his Pokemon at a pokecenter to get healed so he decided to stop by the local bar for a drink, or two, or three, or four, or how ever many he had at this point, he lost had lost count. The bartender had basically insisted on serving him since he was the World Champion.
He heard a group of girls arguing, mostly at one girl in the group, he thought he heard one of them say , “But he’s the world champion!” They most likely wanting his autograph Ash thought.
He finally heard one girl say timidly “o-okay”.
He began to hear someone walk up to him as the argument stopped, most likely the ‘okay’ girl.
She tapped him on the shoulder, he turned around to a Latino girl with curvy brown hair who was turning red in the face, she was roughly 16, making it clear that this bar couldn’t care less about someone’s age.
The girl shyly stuttered out, “He-Hello M-Mr. Champion…”
Everything after that for him was nothing more than a blur.
He woke up the next day in his hotel room without his clothes. After he got dressed he went to go get his Pokemon from the pokecenter, and left the town. Not knowing of what resulted from his actions, for years to come.
———7 years later———
Ash just came back to his home in Pallet town, things were nice, he was still close to his mother to visit, he was helping Gary get used to taking over as professor for his grandfather, even Dawn began to smile again after what had happened to her, and Ash himself had been getting help for his drinking problem.
As Ash was placing his stuff down, *Ring Ring Ring*, his landline started ringing.
“I’m coming!” Ash yelled as ran over and picked up the phone.
“Hello I’m looking for Satoshi Ketchum?” He heard a man ask on the phone.
“Yes that’s me.” He confirmed.
“Good, this is the Gravesfield hospital in Unova.”
Ash began to worry that one of his unovan friends were in trouble. “What is it?!”
“Well there is a woman here who’s claiming you’re the father of her daughter, um, can you please come by sir.” The man on the phone said with worry in his voice.
Despite what common sense would say, that the woman was lying, his aura abilities told him otherwise, so “Okay I’ll come by in two days.” Ash told the man.
