Nerissa cannot feel her legs, she knows she's moving, she knows that she is screaming, but she can't feel anything, she can't hear anything, but she knows something, the adrenaline is stopping the pain. She stared at the woman in front of her, red hair looking like a fire dancing in the wind, but she was laying on the ground unmoving. She sees black and white running beside her, she glances at Shiori beside her and sees her mumbling something as they reach the woman.
“Liz!?” Nerissa screams before turning her gently. She hears Shiori gasps, her own eyes wide and her mouth dry. Lying on the ground was Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame, the leader of Justice, the Scarlet Queen, and the enemy made lover of Nerissa and Shiori…a hole in her stomach, not a big hole but one that wouldn't be able to get fixed if they didn't hurry in getting help to close it up.
Nerissa looks around the battlefield she sees Raoras blue god eyes glow as she stands in front of two people, she was snarling her claws looking ready to protect both girls who were behind her, Cecilia on the ground with Gigi trying to help her get up, blood on Gigi and Cecilia had many cuts that exposed wires. She looked over and saw Amelia almost teleporting as she shot at their opponent, using her watch and concoction to speed up, Gura near water using it to make waves as shields and attacks. Kronii's eyes glowed in pure hatred, the sound of a clock tower noticeable, a noise that everyone knew appeared when strong negative emotions appeared, blood on her shirt, a brown feather and a small flower on her hair, scales could be seen on her arms, and her fangs more noticeable. Nerissa looks around and sees Mumei and Fauna on the ground, also motionless, bloody and she couldn't see if they were breathing, beside them Mumei’s dagger, and the golden apple on Fauna's hand. Nerissa has an idea.
“Shiori, stay with her.” Nerissa says and Shiori nods, pulling Elizabeth to her lap, red delirious eyes on her, blood dripping from her mouth and coughing a bit.
Nerissa runs and dodges the swing of a scythe of a reaper protecting a pile of ashes that was slowly turning red, like a fire being sparked again. She stopped as dice were thrown and a giant explosion was heard, she looked up and saw hope fighting with everything she had, she ran past the twins, who were protecting Bijou as she tried to control the emotion of their opponent. She felt the ground shake and turned to see Ina reading from her book, her eyes white and her wings multiplied from two to six. Nerissa then looked at who they were fighting, she saw its figure dodging strikes and shooting light beams…a God here to take down beings that challenged them and their views. She finally made it to both girls, Mumei had her eyes closed, breathing was almost nothing, but Fauna had her eyes open, crying in pain.
“Mumei, please get up.” She was mumbling, pleading, her eyes locked on Nerissa.
“Can you move?” Nerissa asks and Fauna shakes her head, before turning to her arm, a hole through it, Nerissa looks up.
“What does the apple do?” She asks and Fauna glances at the apple, then Nerissa's wild eyes.
“Heals, but it is painful if the injury is severe.” She says and Nerissa nods before biting her lip.
“Why haven't you eaten it or given it to Mumei?” Nerissa asks and Fauna turns to her other arm; it was stuck beneath the owl beside her.
“Do you have another one?” She asks and Fauna nods.
“I could probably teleport to my domain and get a couple more if I'm healed enough.” She says and Nerissa stares at the apple.
“Does it have to be a whole apple, or can it be a slice or a bite?” Nerissa asks as she picks it up.
“It can be anything, as long as its juice is consumed.” Fauna explains as Nerissa grabs the dagger and cuts it into pieces, she then feeds one to Fauna and almost immediately after she chewed and swallowed the sounds of screaming could be heard. Fauna let out screams of pain as her wound on her arm started to close, wet squelching was heard as her white cells worked hard to close up the wound quickly. After a couple seconds Fauna uses her newly healed arm to grab a slice of apple, and she then makes it into a paste before opening Mumei's mouth and putting the applesauce in. After a couple seconds a sharp breath was heard, and Mumei started to scream, she turned to the side, her back revealing a huge gash that was closing. Nerissa looked at the slices left, saw that there were only two left, and then looked at Fauna.
“I'm going to take these, take any of the wounded and try to heal them.” Nerissa says, Fauna nods and the demon runs through the battlefield again, dodging attacks, a bright light that rivaled the Sun could suddenly be seen and a loud ‘Kikkeriki!’ She saw the giant phoenix fly to the God and felt the cold chill of death as she joined the bird, Amelia also teleporting closer, blue streaks of electricity around her body as she weaved with the timeline like a dance, a pink glow from her eyes, and Gura shielding them with water bubbles. The sound of a clock tower is still heard in the background, and even the God itself was heard.
“OURO KRONII, YOU FUCKING TRAITOR!” They yelled as they shot a beam of light towards the Warden, just when it seemed she could not dodge she disappeared, appearing somewhere different as she also used her power to jump ahead, her white scales bright as blue electricity ran through her body too. Nerissa did not stay to look; she ran past fallen buildings and jumped over fires. She saw black and white, a pool of red around her legs, and her head leaned over the redhead, tears falling from her eyes. As Nerissa got closer, she could hear mumbling as she had her book beside her, trying to find any type of magic that could heal her, she looked up, her eyes glowing, and a snarl present before it smoothed over when she saw who it was.
“Is she ok?” Nerissa asks and Shiori nods, tears still falling from her eyes and she looks down towards Elizabeth, whose breathing was slowed almost to a stop, but her eyes are on Nerissa, delirious and tired, she also looked pale. Nerissa immediately starts to make the apple slice into the same paste that Fauna had done.
“I'm sorry…” Elizabeth says and Shiori shushes her gently.
“Stay quiet Liz.” She says softly, petting her hair gently and Liz makes a grunting noise.
“But…..I treated…yo- ah- you bad.” Liz says feeling the pain from her wound, her fire slowly starting to snuff out, her breathing slowing down even more.
“Don't worry Liz, we already forgave you, Nerissa, are you done yet??” Shiori asks and Nerissa nods her head.
“Almost, just a second longer Liz.” She says and tries to finish the paste, trying to get rid of bigger apple pieces.
“It's getting dark…I’m sorry.” Liz says and her eyes slowly lose her light.
“Liz? Elizabeth? WAKE UP!” Shiori basically yells, going through her book faster even if she did not notice herself and Nerissa basically jumps to get closer, she opens Elizabeth's mouth and puts the paste in, basically forcing it in. Once it was in it felt as if time had stopped, it felt as if the world was watching them. One second goes by and nothing, then its two, then its ten, and just as they were starting to lose hope they heard it, the sound of flesh being fixed, the squelching loud, then a sharp breath came from the body in front of them, and lastly a good sign…screaming. Shiori holds Elizabeth, tears falling as she soothes her, Nerissa slumped beside her, hand on Elizabeth's own. Then they feel cool air as something opens in front of them, Nerissa looks up to see Fauna coming out of what seemed to be a portal, she was mixing a substance on a mortar, she quickly gets close to Elizabeth, who is still screaming, tears falling from her eyes.
Fauna grabs Elizabeth's face and pours the liquid-like substance down into her mouth, after a couple seconds Elizabeth quiets down and looks up tears still falling from her eyes.
“Hey loves.” She says, her voice raspy and rough, a smile on her face, Shiori smiles and Nerissa lets out a breath of relief, the archiver leans in to kiss the red queen, afterwards she pulls away with a smile, the demon then leans down and kisses her before pulling away and making a face.
“Ew, what is that?” She asks and Fauna smiles.
“The plant I used is bitter and doesn't taste good, I'm surprised Elizabeth didn't spit it out.” Fauna says softly, an owl landing on her shoulder and she smiles at it, she then brings her down and kisses her head before putting a golden apple and a little container with the same substance inside the bag it had.
“Nah, the Gods made me eat worse stuff when I was younger….they are not good cooks.” She says and Fauna freezes, turns slowly towards her, and sees that Nerissa also stares at her, Shiori shrugs before Mother Nature just shakes her head and tightens the bag on the little owl.
“Go and take these to Kronii.” She says and the owl hoots, rubs its head against Fauna's forehead, and then flies off.
“Was that Mumei?” Nerissa asks and Fauna nods and they stare as the little owl strategically dodges obstacles.
“I'm glad she's ok.” Nerissa says and Fauna nods.
“The apple helped, but the flower also soothed that pain. She does not feel it right now, but she probably will later…thank you for helping us.” Fauna said with a grateful smile and Nerissa nodded at her, then looked at Liz.
“How long before she can move again.” Nerissa says and Fauna thinks for a second before examining Elizabeth.
“She needs to stay still for a while ,she lost too much blood and the apple is trying to replace that but she is in bad condition so I’ll take her to the cabin and keep her there for a while, I need to get more people anyways.” Fauna says and they both nod, mother nature then picks up the injured girls and takes her through the portal, the owl zooms in as it was closing.
Once they both are sure that Elizabeth is safe they turn to each other, a murderous look in their face, Nerissa gives Shiori a kiss, before summoning her wings with nothing more than a wince and then flying. Shiori instead picks up her book and then starts to write a little before black in swallows her, her yellow eyes glowing. They both move quickly towards the God, with anger that fueled their fight. Nerissa looks over and sees the owl circling a pair of dogs, Fuwawa carrying Mococo, trying to get her away from the God quickly, Bijou near her making sure she is calm, Fauna opens a portal near them before taking the pink dog, Mumei moves away to try and find other injured people.
Cecilia up again, her weapon in her hand, Gigi to the left of her, her gauntlets on her hands and she was down to the ground as if ready to pounce, and Raora was to her right glowing blue eyes, a paint brush on her back, and the metal claws ready to strike, but they didn't look defeated, instead they looked determined and even had a smirk on their face, before they rush towards the God.
She sees that Gura is still protecting people, but has even started to make water animals to attack, Kiara had changed from her bird form to her human form, using her sword and what seemed to be a water shield as her own shield was thrown off, Calli beside her also fighting the God head on with the Phoenix, turning into smoke at times to dodge attacks and appear somewhere else to attack with her scythe, Ina was getting closer, her eyes white, halo made bigger, tentacles more intimidating as they seemed like all were being controlled, but her face blank and her book open. Once she was close to the God she opened her mouth.
“Ɇ₦₳Ɽ, ₩ⱧɎ Ⱨ₳VɆ ɎØɄ ₴ⱧØ₩₦ ɎØɄⱤɆ ₣₳₵Ɇ?” Immediately after hearing the voice, many froze, Myth and even the three members of Council did not, still fighting to defend the ones who were frozen. The voice that came out of Ina's mouth sounded wrong, distorted, and was missing the warmth Ina always showed to everyone she met.
“VETERES, YOU SHOW YOURSELF HERE, AGAINST ME, WHO WAS THE ONE TO DEFEAT YOU THOUSAND OF YEARS AGO.” Enars voice booms throughout the battlefield, Nerissa's wings flapping to keep her up but not moving any closer. Veteres didn't seem to frown, not even looking amused, before they teleported to move closer. She then saw Amelia with a smile, one that seemed to reflect relief before she turned to Kronii and gave her a thumbs up, afterwards she teleported closer with the watch and started shooting at the Enar.
Kronii nodded at Amelia as she tried to get closer with the timelines help, but Enar kept trying to keep her back, her clock hands out ready to attack. Chaos and Hope stayed a little further, Hope was using her flight to attack and using light and darkness to fight the God, Baelz was using her black and red dice, trying to make sure only the God was the closest to the unlucky dice.
Shiori got to Enar almost at the same time Veteres did, she came out of the ink and glanced at the possessed Ina.
“Hello Veteres.” She said with a mischievous voice that seemed like she was mocking the God. The white eyes look over at her a small scowl present.
“₳Ɽ₵ⱧłVɆⱤ, ł ĐłĐ₦'₮ ₭₦Ø₩ ɎØɄ ₩ɆⱤɆ ⱧɆⱤɆ.” The voice says and Shiori laughs, a bitter and angry laugh.
“I'm only here because this God has crossed me and my lovers.” Shiori says, her eyes glowing molten yellow as she pulls out her book. Veteres nods and looks at their opponent in front of them. They both rush with Myth to attack the God who has caused them trouble, but the time duo had a smile.
After the fight
Hours after the fight, they were exhausted but they won. The time duo seemed even more tired than their friends, once Elizabeth came back from Fauna's domain, she, with the help of Kronii and Shiori, managed to kill Enar. It had seemed like hell itself had entered once she had come back, her fellow justice members backing her up as she immediately attacked the God, Kronii made her faster, and Shiori used her book to protect her and make her fire stronger. Finally, hours later the God was killed with one quick strike and a glare.
“You….traitor……we gave you everything and yet you attack me…you and your friends are not safe anymore.” Enar said with their final breath before Elizabeth stabbed them through the chest, silent and cold. Everyone froze and held their breath for a while, but then they heard wings flapping and suddenly Nerissa came from the sky, tackling Elizabeth and kissing her, smiling and cheering. Shiori walked closer and gave Liz a quick kiss before lying on the ground with her girlfriends. Amelia and Kronii were the next ones to fall, they fell beside each other panting, looking more tired than their companions, hair a mess, and eyebags present.
“We did it…it only took us 57 rewinds, but we did it with everyone alive.” Kronii mumbles and Amelia smiles tiredly, a chuckle escaping, her side bloody from when she took a bit of the hit so Fauna would survive and save the others.
“I'm just glad that we got everyone to live this time.” Amelia says and the warden nods, they lay there for a while before an owl lands on Kroniis stomach, making a small hooting noise. Kronii pats her head and then sees gold eyes looking at her, a smile, and green hair covering them like a curtain.
“Hey there Fauna.” She says softly and Fauna smiles before leaning down and kissing her, the owl hoots and they both look at it as a cloud of smoke appears and the small owl becomes a woman.
“Mumei!” Fauna says, Mumei straddling Kroniis stomach, the Warden hands on her waist, and Fauna kisses her too. They may have had bruises, bloody, and even tired but they were still together, and Kronii would make sure it stayed like that no matter what.
Amelia had left the second she saw the Owl land, she moved over to Ina who had also fallen to the ground almost immediately, the ancient ones leaving her body once Elizabeth killed the god with just a couple words.
“Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame, the Godslayer.” It was what they said before Ina's body fell forward like a puppet with cut strings before Elizabeth caught her and made sure she was ok. The rest of Myth, except Amelia, surrounded Ina and tried to make sure she was ok. Ina opened her eyes and smiled, kissing Kiara before passing out, Kiara was shocked for a second but then smiled. They all smile at Ina before laying her on Kiaras lap, Calli saying she will check on everyone else and Gura stays nearby, guarding both of them.
Amelia made it to them and then almost collapsed, from the exhaustion from the many timelines and the Watson concoction kicking in. Gura grabs her and brings her near Ina, the priestess almost immediately holds her and nuzzles the back of her neck. Kiara kisses their head and Gura’s tail wraps around them, the last thing Amelia remembers is the cool hand of Calli patting her head, and the feeling of nice warm rain.
All of these girls fought a God, someone who they had almost no chance at winning against…and yet they managed to win. They were hurt, new scars on their bodies, nightmares acquired for years, and even fears of those who may have died for a couple seconds…yet they were all together.
The Abyssgard twins crying in each other's arms, Bijou looking over Raoras wounds, Cecilia and Gigi back-to-back smiling and laughing, Cecilia's cuts exposing wires, and Gigi's broken gauntlets beside her and knuckles bloody. Bae and Irys lean against each other to move towards the rest of the girl, Irys almost glowing with how much hope everyone felt and how much hope she gave them, Bae smiling while playing with different dice. Sana, who tried fighting but had an injury as the god thought she would be the biggest threat, was walking towards the rest of the girls with a limp, Fauna immediately went over to help her.
All of these girls came together and had won against the God who has caused them harm. They all felt relief once they beat their foe and even if they were exhausted, they still felt joy, because all of them were still there. Amelia and Kronii smiled wider because they saved them and their friend will not have to live through the horrible times that they had seen.
